Jeff Green dominated the first part, but then Jason Keller took over for
the 2nd part leading the last laps to win his first race since Nazareth
of 2001. He also took the point lead from Dale Earnhardt Jr. who did not
attempt the race.

Andy Kirby and Shane Hmiel had strikingly similar crashes in which both
cars climbed the backstretch wall.

This has to be one of the most bizarre and lengthy race titles in recent
memory. I still enjoy the "Pork: The Other White Meat 500", which was an
ARCA race held somewhere a few years ago.

And just last year, the Busch race at Pikes Peak was the "ITT Industrial
Systems Division & Goulds Pumps Salute to the Troops 250".

Kasey Kahne's first Busch Series start he was driving for Robert Yates,
Kahne later betrayed Ford and went to Evernham in the Nextel Cup Series

I'm amazed they never fixed that backstretch wall. Cars were ramping off
it back in the 90s. They were extremely lucky no one flipped before Carl
Long in 2004.

@19 Bobby Allison 1976 was probably one, and Jerry Bowman 1984 and Brian
Vickers during testing in early 2002 were both wall climbs.

@21 You could see the wall was angled like a ramp just from looking at
it. I'm sure they could have straightened it back up and reinforced it
somehow.

DC: #49 was to be driven by Sammy Potashnick, who was on the entry list,
but was arrested prior to the race and temporarily suspended by NASCAR.
