Scott Wimmer's victory here was the first for Bill Davis Racing in the
Busch series in a decade (well, one month short of a decade). This was
the first victory for Davis' team since it won at Charlotte back in the
fall of 1992 with some Cup-bound young gun named Jeff Gordon behind the
wheel of its #1 Ford. The #23 Pontiac's triumph was the team's first win
with a GM car although they had been running them in the series since
1998 (and in Cup since 1994).

Allen Bestwick, Benny Parsons and Wally Dallenbach were the
commentators. Matt Yocum, Marty Snider and Dave Burns were the pit road
reporters.
