Paul posted: 03.12.2017 - 6:07 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Not sure why, but Chad Chaffin replaced Christian Fittipaldi for the race after Fittipaldi had qualified the No. 30 car. Fittipaldi ran the full CART schedule in 2002, but this race was during an off-weekend for CART, and even with the race being postponed for a day I wouldn't think that he had a prior commitment for Sunday. Driver changes: DC | Christian Fittipaldi | 30 | Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade | Chris Lencheski | Chevrolet 11. The only other time this would happen was when the Busch Series made their one-and-done appearance at Martinsville in 2006 (Johnny finished 5th, Jay finished 10th). 12. Deborah Renshaw was originally scheduled to drive it in preparation for running the series in 2003, but Smith replaced her after she was injured in the crash that killed Eric Martin. 13. The broadcast didn't give any specifics but it seemed like an important prior commitment. 14.
