He was 18 years and 3 weeks old. Finished behind Kenseth and above many other Buschwhackers. What was incredible about young Kyle was his brazen cockiness. Before the race they asked if the 18 year old was nervous before his first Nascar start and he smiled and said "not at all." After the race when Yocum asked if he was surprised by how well he did, a cocky smile and a response of "Not really!" 22. The "engine" issue appears to be legitimate in this case. 24.
