In the race Kerry Earnhardt wrecked it. So, #44 Sponsor: Kingsford/Matchlight 6. Tyson posted: 05.26.2016 - 1:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This was the first race I went to as a kid. Earnhardt, and to quote Rick Allen who was announcing, "The 44 team bought that car from Compton's team, and crashed it before the check cleared the bank" 8. Riggs was leading this race late when he and Hornaday got together, leading to Riggs spinning and being hit by Regan Smith in the aftermath. Casey Atwood spun harmlessly in that incident as well as the 48 of Shane Hmiel, but Todd Bodine wasn't as lucky, as he hit the marbles and spun into Mike Bliss. Hamilton Jr and Jason Keller had a fantastic battle over the last 10-15 laps, with Hamilton Jr making the race-winning pass on the apron with 3 to go as both were lapping Lance Norick. 10. I googled it and nothing comes up relating to it, all other results call this race the 2003 Meijer 300 Presented by Oreo. I was almost 14 that season (I just turned 31 last weekend on the Sunday after Thanksgiving) and remember watching (I became a NASCAR fan in 1999) it and there was no Oreo Happy mentioned on air or online... anybody know? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
