Mikey in Victory Lane: "What does a redneck say right before he dies? Hey ya'll watch this!!!" Then Mikey went and stood on his head on the hood of the Aaron's Dream Machine. One of the coolest celebrations ever!!! 2. Steve posted: 09.16.2006 - 10:41 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Yep, Michael's a goofball. And I'm glad we have drivers like him and Kenny Wallace. 3. First top 10 finish in Busch for future two-time series champion Martin Truex Jr. Jeff Fuller, the 1996 winner of this event, finishes 15th in the NEMCO #87 Chevy, his last Busch Series top 20 to date. His best finish of the year was one of only races for Fuller in 2003, and his only one for NEMCO, where he didn't start and park. Michigan Lotto winner Jay Sommers makes his sole Busch series start, a full 15 years after his only other major NASCAR start in a Cup race at Dover in 1988. 4. Did they really run the Busch Series race right before the Cup Race? Don't they run this race the Friday night before? I also found a link to MRN's race results that lists this race being run on the 22nd and not the 23rd. 6. He took the checkered flag just in front of Waltrip. Also, Tim Sauter smacked the wall on the next to last lap, Mike Wallace blew up on the last lap, and Scott Riggs spun out right at the checkered flag. 7. Don't even have to watch the whole thing, just the last couple laps. Not like they've never been wrong with those before. 17.
