Who would have ever thought that a video game would have helped a driver
to win a race?

(Truex and Junior said that it was like TalladegaBR, an addon track for
the game NASCAR Racing 2003 Seaon.)

A great case of the protege beats the mentor. Martin Truex Jr. did a
great accomplishment beating Dale Jr. at Talladega. The most awesome 1-2
finish in the NASCAR Busch Series in my opinion.

I secretly dreaded this race for fear that it would be an unsafe
one.They made it nearly 100 laps before the big crash happened after
completing a total of 24 laps the previous two years before big crashes
wiped out over half the field. This was a mini-wreck compared to those,
and it was a very exciting and thrilling race.

Kim probably had one of the most embarassing sponsors: Boudreaux's Butt
Paste. I think I would accept their sponsorship, "butt" I wouldn't want
to walk around the garage area in a uniform that said anything about
butts, unless it was a stop smoking product whose name or slogan was
"Butt out" or something.

Personally, I don't find the usage of the words "Butt" and "Paste" in
the same sentence very promising myself, but hey, that's just me.

Robert Pressley elected to skip practice #1 and qualifying to be with
his father, Bob Pressley, who was extremely ill and near death at the
time. Mark Green practiced and qualified the car in his place, and
Pressley returned for practices #2 and #3, as well as the race. Bob
Pressley died just three days later.

I think the practice broadcast of this race had one of the first
instances of the use of the bleep button, in NASCAR after the 2004 Super
Bowl Concert controversy and Robby Gordon the one caught remember he and
Johnny Sauter had a playful feud somewhat, but Robby was not fined, But
Johnny Sauter was finded and the 1st person fined after innaproriate
language after NASCAR warned teams that after the Super Bowl Controversy.
