The race was rain delayed well into the night and it appeared as though
Kyle Busch had it won until he lost control and crashed with a few laps
to go.

Kyle Busch spun trying to get to the pits, he was out of fuel, it was
tight on fuel mileage, Leffler probably would've pitted if there wasnt
that caution for Busch's spin.

Buckshot Jones makes a brief return to the Busch series after an absence
of over two years in this event driving the #1 Yellow Transportation
Dodge. Buckshot finished 29th in his next-to-last start.

Winston Cup was at Pocono this weekend, but Michael Waltrip did the
private jet shuffle and ran both at Nashville and Pocono.

Here's a list of substitute drivers on-hand in Nashville while the Cup
Series was racing at Pocono Raceway:

#38 - Tyler Walker (practiced and qualified for Kasey Kahne)
#55 - Brandon Miller (practiced and qualified for Robby Gordon)
#60 - Mike McLaughlin (practiced for Greg Biffle)
#99 - Johnny Benson, Jr. (practiced and qualified for Michael Waltrip)

Joe Nemechek did not enter his No. 87 car in this race, something he did
only five times during the 2004 Busch Series season. Also, Johnny Sauter
decided to skip the Cup race entirely and focus on the Busch race
instead. Sauter, who was driving the No. 30 Cup car for RCR at the time,
would not drive the No. 30 car again.

During the qualifying for the event, Matt Yocum mentioned that Dave
Blaney was scheduled to drive the #1 car but that never happened as
Richard Childress asked him to drive Johnny Sauter's cup car.
