He then dominated the Busch race and lost by getting tires and not making uo the time. 2. Martin did not jump the start, the car in front of him checked up! He was forced to restart in the back, and beat the hell out of the car to finish 4th. Baby Busch gets another win, but Truex still goes on to become champ because he is a better driver and a bigger man. 3. Jake posted: 01.16.2005 - 11:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I know. I was very mad when they penalized Truex Jr. for no reason when Sauter just stopped coming to the green. 2 months later in the Charlotte Cup race, Kasey Kahne clearly jumped Ryan Newman on the start and got away with it. That's complete bull. 4. Jake posted: 01.16.2005 - 11:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) I guess NASCAR has their favorites. 5. This will most likely be his final start. 7. 18fan posted: 09.26.2008 - 2:10 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yeah, Kyle has amounted to be a way better Cup driver than Truex. 8. Martin took DEI equipment to victory lane in the Cup Series. Juan Pablo hasn't been able to do that. Get him in a Gibbs / Hendrick quality ride and watch the wins come. 9. awesomebillfan9 posted: 04.07.2013 - 9:08 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) Anybody who thinks Truex is better than Busch is a fool. Plain and simple. 10. According to Long's website in the archives section, the car's withdrawal was due to the fact that "They felt they were not prepared enough just yet to make a competitive venture into the NASCAR Busch Series." I have also heard that the car failed pre-qualifying technical inspection, which probably contributed to the team's decision to withdraw due to a lack of preparation. In fact, this team had planned on running the Busch race at Gateway earlier in the 2004 season with Carl Long as the driver, but withdrew from that race as well due to being behind on preparation. It's no surprise that this team didn't make it in NASCAR. 11. Currently both he and Jeff Fuller are credited with starting 14th. I found the actual race footage on youtube that shows the starting lineup and Hamilton indeed starts 13th. 18. I'm convinced people in prison have access to this website. I mean, how in the world would you have time for finding these kind of status 19. I recently started doing it for Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity races and that's how I found this, as I'm looking for closely at usually disregarded and sometimes nebulous stats. And thankfully I'm not in prison. :) 20. Land0nFand0n posted: 12.03.2019 - 7:26 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kenny Hendrick DNQed in the #85, as comment #16 mentions. 21.
