Anonymous posted: 02.21.2005 - 3:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Menard had the fastest car but never put it in the right position to make moves toward the front. He should've been in Victory Lane or at least in the top five. 5. JJ Lehto posted: 02.27.2005 - 1:32 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Reed Sorenson is amazing. In a few races he's in the top 5 all race. Now his first race ever at daytona. He stays in the top 3 all day and got pushed out at the end. What a driver. I see his future being big. 6. James Reisdorf posted: 03.19.2005 - 10:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Slight correction: Bobby Hamilton Jr. wasn't in the #95 this race, Bobby Sr. was actually in that car. (Best finish for him in a stock car in 12 years, incidentally...) 7. James Reisdorf posted: 03.19.2005 - 11:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I meant to write in a "Busch Series" car...he had plenty of good Cup series finishes in that time... (I swear, everytime I make a point here, I screw up a word or two...) 8. Mike D posted: 03.21.2005 - 8:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Paul Menard deff. had the best car. Good race, good win for stewart. His save through the grass was amazing, but overhyped I think. 9. HomeDepot20TS posted: 04.10.2005 - 6:46 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) Overhyped? Has Gordo or Johnson or Earnhardt ever done it? 10. Mike D posted: 04.12.2005 - 10:29 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sorry to upset you. But honestly, I think they overhyped a little bit. And no, Johnson or Earnhardt have never done it. But that has nothing to do with what I said, I stated it was amazing. It was a great driving move that kept him in the race. But a tad overglorified in my opinion. 11. Jake posted: 04.26.2005 - 8:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tony made a pretty impressive save there. It was neat to see Tony and Kevin go to Victory Lane. I feel bad for Paul Menard. Not even Junior or Truex went w/ him. I felt he had somethin' for them, as long as they'd work w/ him. 12. Chicago posted: 05.29.2005 - 5:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Kyle Busch was black-flagged twice, once for making a clean pass under the yellow line (what a joke of a rule) which took him out of contention. 13. Brian posted: 08.29.2005 - 4:19 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) The line rule is a joke in itself. I mean it makes sense, it'll stop the pack from getting 10 wide. However, they are, still, inconsistent with the enforcement. Especailly when it comes to accidents, like being pushed below. Then the whole NASCAR playing favoritism thing pops into peoples minds. 14. Jr. Fan posted: 10.19.2005 - 2:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dale Earnhardt DID do the drive through the grass too in an IROC race, and won it. 15. HomeDepot20TS posted: 11.16.2005 - 3:38 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) And when was that? 16. ogarek posted: 12.13.2005 - 5:23 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) earnhardt did the same thing as stewart in the iroc race at daytona 2 days before his death but he didn't win because the incident was on the final lap (ironic) and i think he finished 7th also do you remember the '87 winston goes through the grass and keeps the lead 17. Jake posted: 12.17.2005 - 10:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Reed did a good job. 18. HomeDepot20TS posted: 02.17.2006 - 12:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) I know about the whole deal with Cheever the Friday before the 500, and everybody knows about the "pass" in the grass. 19. Darrell posted: 01.20.2008 - 1:19 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Shawna Robinson returns to NASCAR after brief hiatus. Unfortunately, her deal with Coleman Racing didn't last very long, due to the inferior equipment and whatnot. 22. most posted: 03.07.2008 - 8:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) I agree, the pass in the grass stuff is overhyped (except the IROC one which was amazing). Kenseth didn't Q because he is a top level cup driver, and they don't get in if not fast enough. They need to make them all qualify like the go or go home guys in the Cup series this year, send some of them home. Of course Nascar is ruining the sport so the Nationwide Series will have about 28 cars here soon... 23. Tim posted: 04.11.2008 - 11:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kenseth DNQ'd because the #17 team did not run all of the races the year before, despite being about 25th in points due to their on-track performance. In order for a team to be locked into a race, they have to at least have attempted all of the races to that point (or in the 1st 5 races, all of the races the year before), which Kenseth did not do. This meant he had to qualify on time, and he wasn't fast enough. 24.
