This race was historic, wasnt the most exciting, but historic, and amazing win for Truex. 2. This is nothing more but a Busch oval. The racing action was rather dissapointing. 3. Brian posted: 03.26.2005 - 9:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Agreed 4. Big money for NASCAR. But in my opinion the Cup Series Should Not race in any foreign country yet. Let the Busch Series have there stand alone races. With that huge crowd paying big bucks for that race it would make the purse bigger for some of the underpaid Busch regular teams. Oh by the way did you how much the fans went nuts when Adrian Fernadez, the hometown hero, took the lead. 5. Upon reflecting, I don't know ... my comments were sort of in haste. The race was definitely ground-breaking but nothing special. In short, this track could use some tweaking, but I'm not sure if it's that "Cup level" course everyone's looking for. I think that Toronto's road course would be a better bet if people are looking for an out of the country road circuit for the Winston Cup cars. 7. Morales qualified the 67 but DNQed, so he took his sponsorship with him to the 52 team. 9. larry spencer posted: 09.14.2005 - 10:56 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) I hope cup stays in the USA Mexico can have is own series 10. But he ended up getting spun out by one of the road ringers (I think) and gave Truex the lead. 16. most posted: 03.07.2008 - 8:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Nice to see different drivers in the series but overall, this race is and has always been boring... 17. Morales again had trouble qualifying here, failing to make the field, before a deal was made to have him take over the #52 Ford Scott Gaylord qualified and bring his Telmex sponsorship with him. Once he was on the grid Morales made the most of it to finish in the top-20 and on the lead lap, the best finish of the season for Jimmy Means' team, and be the second-highest finishing Mexican driver in this historic race behind only Adrian Fernandez. This was the first of two NASCAR Busch starts for Morales, both coming here at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. His top-20 here was his best finish. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
