He dominated the race, but I think that call to come on to pit road w/ like 50 to go and put on 4 tires was the turning point. Gil Martin was just like Matt Borland last week. He was a sitting duck. As the old saying goes, if they pit, the others stay out. If they stay out, they all pit. 2. Too bad for Clint Bowyer. That pit stop took him out of contention. Carl Edwards punted Sadler out of the way. No spin on the events can change that. I would've rather seen Sauter win than either of them, though -- Grand National regulars over Cup guys! 3. Does anybody remember Brad Parrott's "cartwheel" lmao 4. b4il3y posted: 02.04.2014 - 3:40 am Rate this comment: (0) (4) Ol Carl put one of his "moves" and won the race. Yeah Carl.. your classy. 5. Acknowledged that development driver Ryan Hemphill had been struggling mightily, with some reasons for that being out of his control, so the Biagi team turned to Chip Ganassi Racing for some help. CGR brought in additional funding, in-house support, a CGR crew chief in Chambers and a veteran driver in Jeff Green, shaking up the team to the point where it was more or less Biagi Bros. Racing in name (and paint-job) only. Definitely didn't remember that part of the saga...there's always more to the story than what appears at a glance. A night to forget for Paul Wolfe, unfortunately for him. He was involved in four of the 13 cautions in the race and ended the night in 37th, 34 laps down in a beaten, bruised, and hastily-repaired racecar. He wasn't alone in that unfortunate distinction as Shane Hmiel also found himself involved in four of the stoppages, while Paul Menards, JJ Yeley and Kyle Busch added hat tricks of their own. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
