Congrats to Martin Truex Jr. on his 5th victory of 2005, but I also want
to congratulate Denny Hamlin for the job he did. I know he was upset to
finish 3rd, but he's gonna win a lot of races in the future.

Ryan Moore's NASCAR Busch Series debut. He ran strong in the top 15-16
for most of the race in the #81 Oreo Chevy for DEI. A late race tangle
with #12 Tim Fedewa ended a strong start. I was in Moore's pit for the
race... certainly a different perspective than from the stands.

Pontiac's last NASCAR top 10 in their third to last race. An absolutely

Tim Fedewa got sent to the back of the field during the caution in the
opening laps as punishment for some sort of extreme comment he made over
his radio. The nature of that comment wasn't revealed but Fedewa still
raced back up for a top-15 finish.

This race had most lead lap cars for a New Hampshire Xfinity race Aaron
Fike gave the 43 car its first lead lap oval track run since 2003 and
his 1st of his career. Dale Quarterley gave McDonald Motorsports their
1st lead lap since 2003.
