Congrats to Newman although I feel bad for Bowyer. He had a great car
but that botched pit stop changed everything w/ the penalties afterwards.

This was a 125 lap race. How come the total laps led by the eight
drivers totals 126?

Yeah, I'm not sure why Vickers DNQ'd for this race. He had a champions'
provisional....

Looks like I'm 7 years late to the inquiry, but I'm pretty sure back
then Cup regulars weren't eligible for Busch provisionals under any
circumstance, which explains why Vickers didn't qualify. It's also why
Kenseth had a rare DNQ in the Daytona season opener.

actually Vickers did not race in the then Busch series in 2004 thats why
he did not make it in this race its the same event where Bobby Labonte
could not make it as well at Michigan, because during that time the
reason did not race the previous season thats why. The rule said if you
were a previous champion if you were eligible you had to run at least
once the previous season.

#6, from the looks of it qualifying was rained out so the starting
lineup was set by owner standings.
