He stated in his interview after retiring from the event that the car wasn't handling well (he had been running mid-pack all race) and rather than tear up Kevin and DeLana Harvick's second car when the team wasn't racing for points and was struggling to run in the top-20 anyways, he decided to just retire from the event. 14.
