Might as well not waste my time complaining about the Buschwhackers
(They're in every spot of tenth or better?!? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!)
but instead congratulate Jason Leffler and Braun Racing on a good
come-from-behind run. They started way in the back and worked their way
up. Also keep your eye on Stephen Leicht and David Gilliland. I think
they're stars of the future.

I'd never been bothered by Buschwackers but this is ridiculous.

A limit of eight races for top 35 drivers in the previous year's Cup
points sounds fair.

I agree, but if you think about it, who is going to watch the busch
series if their favorite cup driver isnt in it.

I mean, sure there has been some good Rookie classes, but this years is
boring, Id only watch it for Kluever, but he isnt exactly doing that
great so far this year...

Pretty simple. They find a Busch driver to root for. That's what I did
when I first started watching this series.

Only Busch Series race for the late Spencer Clark. He was taken from us
much too early.

Yes, I saw the news. He was in an automobile accident. He was a young
man who I think had some potential. No, he was not very impressive in
this Busch race, but in the West Series races I saw, he ran with the
leaders every time. He often was an opponent to Kyle Busch when they
were younger men in their native Las Vegas. He was only 19 years old.

Here is the article I saw:

I was keeping a close eye on him during this race aon Trackpass and he
was running pretty quick times. I thought it was impressive that he made
the race at all considering the car was prepared by family and friends.

R.I.P. Spencer, we'll miss you.

Please do not use the Jayski link; after a few days, it has failed to
work (it gets updated), so it is no longer valid. This link should work:

John Andretti had two hard hits: firstly, hitting the inside wall hard
after getting wrecked by Jamie McMurray, then came back up the track and
got hit hard by Tim Sauter. Had Sauter hit him a few more inches to the
right, the consequences could have been disastorus.

So much for Leicht and Gilliland being "future stars." Leicht couldn't
find himself a ride after '07 and Gilliland is with Front Row. He did
run well in underfunded machinery in the Atlanta race on Saturday...

Steve Park makes his first Busch Series start since Las Vegas in 2003,
and his first time driving for Marsh Racing since his career-altering
crash in the Busch race at Darlington in 2001. Park would make five more
appearances for Ted Marsh's team in 2006, but unfortunately his 30th
place finish in this race would be his best result of the season.

Mike Joy along with Larry McReynolds and Darrell Waltrip were the
commentators. Dr. Dick Berggren, Steve Byrnes, Matt Yocum and Jeanne
Zelasko were the pit road reporters. Chris Myers and Jeff Hammond were
in the Hollywood hotel.
