Martin Truex Jr. remains undefeated at Talladega, winning the 2006
Aaron's 312. Truex led 36 of the 117 laps and held off a hard charging
Brian Vickers and Kevin Harvick. The first crash involved Justin
Ashburn, Derrick Cope and Regan Smith. The next noteable crash involved
Tony Stewart flipping over while trying to get in line, just nudging the
right front of Kenny Wallace's nose. Stewart got airborne but was ok.
Danny O Quinn Jr. was involved as well as he hit Stewart. Kevin Harvick
would finish second, increasing his points lead to 299 over Clint Bowyer.

Chalk up another win for garbagebeard. Yes, that's right, garbagebeard.
He should shave that garbagebeard off!!! It is awful. Dale Jr. needs to
keep that dumb white boy in line.

Fairly tame for a busch race at Talladega.At least it's tame compared to
last year.

I hate tamed Talladega races lol, hopefully the truck race in October
will be better than this

I don't want to see anybody get hurt, but "The Big One" is one of the
best parts of the Talladega races, besides the 3 and 4-wide racing.
Whose fault the wreck was, how many cars were in the crash, who narrowly
avoided the crash, who was an innocent victim, and which backmarker ends
up with a solid finish are always the questions to be asked after TBO.

I found a mistake in cautions summary. Interestingly enough, it came
here from the official data it seems. It was #35 Regan Smith who was
involved in the first caution (actually he caused it), not #25 Ashton Lewis.

As for caution on L100, it can be added that debris flew from #25 on the
backstretch.

You're right--they are switched. Either that, or their finishing
positions are switched, because they both crashed out on the same lap.

Mike Joy along with Larry McReynolds and Darrell Waltrip were the
commentators. Dr. Dick Berggren along with Steve Byrnes and Matt Yocum
were the pit road reporters. Chris Myers and Jeff Hammond were in the
Hollywood hotel.
