First NASCAR win of any kind for Casey Mears. Best Busch regular was
Johnny Sauter in 17th.

Kurt shouldve won they did the wrong pit strategy and ended up 6th but
thats racing, congrats to Casey Mears it was only a matter of time.

dlae jr surprisingly races in a non restrictor plate event and finishes
fairly well

Congratulations, Casey, you finally did it! It's sad that your talent
couldn't be seen in the #42, just as it won't in that crappy #25. I
think that team has only won 6 races in the last 18 years.

You're right; since the days of the late Tim Richmond, the 25 car has 4
wins with Ken Schrader, one with Jerry Nadeau, and one with Joe Nemechek.

The coverage of this race was horrendous. First off, a golf tournament
is supposedly more important than this race (I'll bet that even though
this race was on cable it still got better ratings), so it it aired on
TNT, rather than network TV. Then after the first round of green flag
pit stops, they take a break, come back to tell us that 15 cars are on
the lead lap, and then go directly back to commercials. During this
unnecessary break, Tracy Hines crashes, so they jump immediately back to
live coverage, interrupting a commercial break which should not have
been aired so quickly!

Yeah, TNT/NBC's coverage is crappy. I hope ABC/ESPN's coverage in 2007
will be as good as it was in the 90's.

The only NASCAR win for Casey Mears with Ganassi. Also the only career
Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity win for Mears.

21 crew chief - Todd Berrier
Awaiting a final verdict on regular crew chief Shane Wilson, ejected
from Daytona the weekend prior due to a major inspection violation, RCR
opted to install Harvick's Cup crew chief atop the Busch box as well.

Bill Weber along with Benny Parsons and Wally Dallenbach were the
commentators. Allen Bestwick along with Marty Snider, Matt Yocum and
Dave Burns were the pit road reporters.
