With this race, it is now a guarantee that a Buschwhacker will win the

Disapointing night for polesitter Jeff Burton he probably was the only
car with a shot at his teammate Kevin Harvick but something broke in his
racecar while leading and he finished 40th

Also, final Busch Series start for Kevin Grubb. He was suspended
indefinitely after this race for refusing to do a drug test. Like Shane
Hmiel who was suspended
indefinitely last year Grubb finished last in his final race.

I was also praying to God that Greg could get the win, but on this
night, that simply wasn't going to happen. As much as I hate to say it,
Harvick had 'em covered.

Grubb refused a drug test after the race, resulting in his suspension.
Grubb later claimed that he had no memory of refusing the mandatory test
because he had suffered a concussion in his accident. While this isn't a
good barometer of a head injury at all, as we've since learned, the hit
didn't look particularly hard and Grubb never attempted to seek out an
official diagnosis prior to his death.

For some reason Clarence Brewer fired David Green before this race.
