He has 5 second place finishes since his previous win at Memphis, finishing second at Phoenix in 2005, and this year at Nashville both times, at Martinsville, and at Gateway. Reed Sorenson raced Jamie McMurray for 5th on the last lap, but got loose and crashed coming out of Turn 4. Mikey gets his second Top 10 of 2006 (both in BGN). Scott Wimmer' 11th place finish is the best for a FitzBradshaw car since David Stremme drove the #14 NAVY Dodge to 11th at Memphis last year. Kenny Schrader finishes in the Top 15 in BGN for the first time since 1999 in Phoenix. 3. Dale Jr. took over in 1998 and 1999, winning several races and the Championship both years. AC-Delco moved from DEI to RCR in 2000, sponsoring ROY Kevin Harvick as he won 3 races, and followed that season with 5 wins and the Championship. In 2002 rookie Johnny Sauter won the pole at Talladega, where he famously flipped, and won the race at Chicago. Ron Hornaday Jr. drove the car the next two years, winning at Nazareth in 2003 and Milwaukee in 2004. Clint Bowyer has driven the car since, and he won at Nashville and Memphis in 2005, and won this race at Dover in 2006. 6. BB&T and Camping World took over in 2007, but the #2 team was a part time team, if you look at the owners points the #29 team is actually the #2 team. 9. The team didn't participate in either practice session, and then on the day of the race it was announced that Chris Wimmer would be replacing Howard in the car. Wimmer parked the car after completing three laps, so its possible that Howard pulled out after hearing that he would have to start-and-park. The No. 52 team was a late entry and didn't make a qualifying lap with Donnie Neuenberger. Their 34th place finish in this race was the only Busch Series race for that team in 2006. 11.
