It just shows the talent that Carl has. Congrats to Reed Sorenson. Also, WTG Roush drivers! We all finished 11th or better. Too bad for Landon Cassill. He had a great debut going before he crashed. 2. Great run for David Reutimann in 3rd. Also, David Ragan gets another top 5 and continues to show promise. With enough sat time, he'll be a star. Kevin Hamlin gets a career best 7th place finish, and J.J. Yeley FINALLY gets a top 10 for the James Finch team. Germain Racing makes their car debut and finishes in the top 10. It probably could have been better had Todd not made contact with Chase Miller and Carl Edwards, damaging both fenders. Landon Cassill, who will probably turn out to be Jeff Gordon's replacement in 2010, ran in the top 10 all night and was in the top 5 when he made contact with the lapped car of Travis Kittleson and crashed. He'll be back at ORP, though. Edwards lost it by himself and backed it in the wall with a few laps to go. He came all the way back from 14th to 6th in the final laps, though it was most likely due to the aerodynamic advantage that the damage gave him rather than driving talent. 4. b4il3y posted: 07.22.2007 - 11:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) We need more races like this. Not many bushwhackers, people can get experience driving up front and get someone attention. I had more fun watching this, even tho there were alot of wrecks, but those guys will come back and hopefully know better and have learned something. 5. Might've been better had Carl not used him as a brake. Landon Cassil had a nice run going until he nailed Bliss and then got taken out by Kittleson, which also took out Keselowski. :( Not a bad race, though. Wimmer is yet again a bridesmaid. He'll never win again, will he... And of course, nice job to Sorenson, who wins for the first time since 2005 at this same track. 6. Kyle Krisiloff t-boned Bliss really hard and hometown boy Kenny Wallace was taken out in the same wreck. 7. Zac posted: 07.24.2007 - 2:49 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) He really is. He's perfect. Everything about him is just amazing. He's kind, clean, and courteous. :) Seriously though, Carl has done some STUPID things, but Harvick can top those easily. I'm just not a fan of Carl. He's a good talent and proved it when he backed it into the fence and then rallied back to a 6th place finish. He's talented, I'll give him that no problem, but I'm not a fan of his. What can I say? I'm a Harvick fan, I have pent up anger towards people. ;) 9. Douche Bagolow posted: 07.25.2007 - 3:11 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Just look at who is ahead of the other in both series. ;) 10. I like how you can at least admit that Harvick causes wrecks too. Landon Cassill? Who the hell is this kid and where did he come from? Why is everyone making such a big deal out of him? He might actually be the next Jeff Gordon. Wreck everyone else (and himself) by acting stupid and being overrated the first 2 years of his career and then just sail into the sky by the help of Rick Hendrick's (and Jeffie's) fortune. God help us in every race he runs this season. (To be fair and balanced, the same could have been said about David Ragan last season. However, he learned quickly and doesn't wreck much anymore.) 11. No TOYOTA should ever carry the 3 or 03. 14. Mr. Big posted: 09.17.2007 - 11:23 pm Rate this comment: (3) (1) It's the #03, smart one. The #3 should never be revived. 15. Anonymous posted: 11.19.2007 - 8:37 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Why shouldn't the 3 be revived? The 28 and 7 raced two weeks after their drivers died. The 43 and 21 still race. I see a #11 every week, and the 17 won last night's race. #3 should be no different than every other number. 16. As for the race. I very fuzzily recall Carl and Reed duking it out but Reed dominated the majority of the night and ultimately prevailed. I'll need to dig this one up on YouTube soon 19.
