I'm starting to wonder if it is the equipment, not the driver. 4. Congrats to Jason Keller, who hails from my home state, on being the all-time leader in Busch series starts. Carl Edwards earns his 2nd consecutive DNF and his second DNF of the season. He failed to clinch the title that night. Ever since Kentucky, his season has done a dramatic turn for the worse. If he hadn't have had that great of a start, the championship could still be contested. 6. Earlier in the race, Jamie McMurray got loose under another car and crashed. Could you imagine another car owner throwing his driver under the bus like that on national TV? I remember something Rick Hendrick told a young Kyle Busch: ?If you make a mistake and crash the car, that's okay. We pay you to drive all out. But if you're playing bumper cars after the checkered flag, that's another story.? With Roush, honest mistakes were inexcusable. There's a reason some people stay at the top while some others fall. It's about how you treat people. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
