Period. I know he wouldn't wreck Carl on purpose. WTG Greg for a solid 2nd-place. That 19th Busch Series win is coming soon . 2. Late in the going of this one, Mark Martin got into Carl Edwards as Edwards battled Brad Keselowski for the lead. Edwards spun and collected Keselowski, eliminating both from contention for the win. When Mark was being interviewed in victory lane, literally the first words out of his mouth were an apology for the wreck. I doubt the wreck was deliberate, Mark Martin is not the kind of driver to purposely wreck another driver especially his teammate and former teammate for the win. Mark doesn't cause wrecks, in the 13+ years I've watched NASCAR I can count on my hands the number of times I seen Mark actually cause an accident. First win ever for JR Motorsports Mark Martin's first NASCAR win in something other than a Ford 3. Edwards and the Bushwackers need to stop racing. I do not consider Martin a Bushwacker. Martin clearly had the best car all day. Another win for Hendrick Motorsports at Las Vegas. They seem to own this track. 4. Start acting right Tony, you'll win more races! 5. I just watched the TV telecast of Steve Wallace's wreck on You Tube (I missed it live cause I was watching the end of the UNC/BC basketball game) and I can't believe the ESPN commentators are still making excuses for this loser. Dale Jarrett says "some of the best have wrecked up there this weekend". Yeah, that's true, and yes it is true that everyone messes up from time to time. Even Mark Martin, the cleanest driver in NASCAR, made a mistake this weekend. BUT NOT EVERY FREAKING WEEK!!!! Seriously, when are they finally gonna just say "This guy is a one man wrecking force who screws up almost every week and would have been axed ages ago were it not for the fact that his high profile father owns the team and would be very embarrassed after all the hype he put into him so he just allows him to continue wrecking every week, even in the garage area". Obviously Rusty won't say that, but this is getting to be ridiculous. EVERY WEEK almost he wrecks and EVERY WEEK espn commentators make an excuse for him. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone made quite a few upon entering the big time, but not this often. He should have improved greatly by now. The only times he doesn't crash, he ends up 5 laps down. HE SUCKS. Period. Just say it. He is stealing seat time from spmebody like Stephen Leight who could do a MUCH better job in that car while tearing up MUCH less equipment. Hell, David Stremme ran top 5 all day in RWI equipment. That just shows you how good it is. 8. Cant blame him this week, same thing happened to Bobby Labonte among others. Tough luck for Stewart, Reutimann, Edwards, and Keselowski (who couldnt have held off Mark, but was bound for a top 5 finish) Interesting finishes from 5th-13th place. 9. Nuck Chorris posted: 03.02.2008 - 9:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Great runs for Wallace, Stremme, Carpenter, and Franchitti and Coleman. Also great job to Johnny Borneman who wrecked his car in practice, didn't have a backup, used parts from another team's car, and barely made it into the event, starting 43rd, and ending up 20th. if this guy had the equipment, he would be a threat to win on a weekly basis. 10. This year he still looks improved. Daytona was not his fault for once, and other than that he ran a very clean race. California he finished 15th and had a good solid race. Here he was running top 10 and just lost it, just like many other top drivers did this weekend. I agree he needs to grow up a lot, but so has every other 21 year old. Maybe he needs a full year or 2 in ARCA before moving to Busch again, but he's got talent. As long as he grows up he will be a Cup driver, and he will be above average once he's there. I'll give him about 2-3 years before I really judge his career. If he hasn't grown up then, I will stop following him. 12. Mike finished 7th, ironically enough, his first top-10 since June of 2006. 13. Anonymous posted: 03.04.2008 - 2:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Nice runs for Kevin Lepage and Brett Rowe too. 14. And watching him this year, he has improved a lot 15. DaleSrFanForever posted: 03.05.2008 - 11:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yes, I even said the best of them wrecked. Former Busch and Cup champ Bobby Labonte trashed 2 cars this weekend and Mark Martin, who never causes anything, caused something. But not every week. Steve even crashed in the freaking garage area this year. Not just nicked up, full blown torn up. He just doesn't think behind the wheel. Samfan does bring up a good point. He was definitely brought along too quickly. After his subpar performances at the end of '06 he should have never been given a full Busch season. But at some point you have to say "Gee, I'm wrecking every friggin week, maybe I should try a different approach." I'm not trying to just pick on somebody and I'm not trying to be unfair. I have a huge amount of respect for his Dad and I hope he can carry on that legacy, but honestly I think the Wallace clan's best hope is in Mike's daughter. I just look at Steve and I don't see it. Hey, I'm a Dale Sr fan but I must say Kerry ain't worth a darn behind the wheel. And quite frankly, I don't think Dale Jr is all he's cracked up to be. I mean he's good, but not great. He chokes too much when he has to step it up, like in the Cup race, spinning his tires on that restart. Not that he had anything for Carl, but had Carl slipped, he wouldn't have been in position to take advantage of it. 16. Mark's last two wins both came at the wheel of a Chevy but his first 47 all came driving Fords. 25.
