His interview after the race could be transcribed as saying.."I was mad at Brad because he raced me hard in a race, and I don't like to be raced hard in a race." And congrats to Carl Edwards, who on the last lap decided that Mike Wallace didn't know the wall enough, and he should get to know it better. As far as I'm concerned, Keselowski won this race. 2. He was going to let it go, and like he said maybe talk to him about it later, but nope. Keselowski had to take it to the next level and go lift Hamlin's tires off the ground under cauting and then drive up beside him to get under his skin. If Keselowski would have showed a little more composure and just sat back there and waited for the restart to pass Denny that would have showed Hamlin up better. Brad is a young guy, however, and he is going to learn. These two drivers will be fine about it come next weekend. It was the crews who took it too far with a lack of maturity. All you Earnhardt fans and supporters get more and more ridiculous every single week. You always want to point fingers and blame drivers calling people cry babies all the time...quite ironic, in more than one way, if you ask me. 1) the very man who started this whole love fest with anything and everything Earnhardt drove and acted the same way as both Denny and Brad did lastnight 2) take a look in the mirror before you call someone a cry baby. 4. Steve is having a great year, you obviously dont know racing if you think otherwise. 8. WallaceFan posted: 05.25.2008 - 10:49 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Exciting race, Steve wrecked during qualifying so had to start form the back, was in the top 15 before a wreck with Leffler, still got 20th. Overall good day there. Hate to see Kyle Busch win. Good runs for Keselowski, Jr, Vickers, Stremme and Ambrose. 9. Willy on wheels posted: 05.26.2008 - 6:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I Wasn't too happy about Kyle winning, but at least he did it for a smaller, Nationwide only team instead of Joe Gibbs. 10. WallaceFan posted: 05.26.2008 - 10:30 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'd like to point out that Keselowski was at fault for what happened, as he matures he will learn to let things like that go. Hamlin, just like all other drivers, are all talk. Not many drivers fight. Crew members need to learn to stay out of things. All they cause is problems. Crew members fighting over something drvers can just talk out is stupid. They get too caught up in the race. 11. DaleSrFanForever posted: 05.26.2008 - 11:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Hamlin has the right to be mad at Brad for hitting him under caution, but his interview really disappointed me. It is called RACING!! Getting mad cause he didn't roll over is pathetic. I really want to like Denny, but he keeps making it harder and harder. If Dale Jr took the passion he has for the cars he owns into the cars he drives, he would have a lot more wins. After the 600 he said something about getting "motivated again". He should have never been not motivated in the first place. That is his problem. He doesn't have the passion to be great. Even after he hit the wall he should have been raring to go. 12. Mr. Big posted: 05.26.2008 - 12:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) How dare a Nationwide regular race a Cup driver in a Nationwide race. How wrong is that? Jesus, Denny Hamlin is a moron. 13. Running into the back of someone and lifting his tires off the ground UNDER CAUTION!!!! IS NOT RACING!!! 14. " Never said I liked Earnhardt, Junior or Brad. I enjoyed every minute of their little scuffle, it's what makes racing racing. However, coming out of the car and being whiney because someone raced them hard is something else. Maybe I enjoy hard racing an emotions. Maybe the rest of us do too and are a little tired of people getting upset about, "he didn't give me enough room, he was "racing me hard and really trying to make something of himself." BTW, the crybaby comment was unwarranted an unnecessary. Learn to debate without flaming. 15. Baker posted: 05.26.2008 - 4:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) OMG did you not read what I wrote? rear ending someone and lifting their tires off the ground under a caution IS NOT RACING SOMEONE HARD that is just plain being a chump. Denny was going to let it go just like every other driver in racing until Keselowski decided to lose his cool first. Hmmm let me get this strait...it is okay for people to call Denny Hamlin a cry baby for "whinning when he got out of the car", but it is not okay to call someone a cry baby when they are whinning about Denny Hamlin??? How hypocritical is that? I love Juniors fans... 16. DaleSrFanForever posted: 05.27.2008 - 12:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I said Denny has the right to be mad about being hit under caution, but he spent 90% of his post race interview whining that a Nationwide regular didn't roll over and let him go without racing in a NATIONWIDE SERIES RACE!!!! And another thing, don't tell the crew members to stay out of it. They built that car through many many hours of thankless, unbelievably meticulous WORK. You don't just put a quarter in a vending machine and these cars appear. They have every right to confront him for something that happens to THEIR car. I just can't believe how he has turned into such a spoiled brat. He is a guy who came up the hard way on the greasy short tracks of the South with a family run operation with family BUILT cars. I would think he would be the last guy to act like this. I want to like Denny, but I am finding it harder and harder. 17. samfan08 posted: 05.27.2008 - 2:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sam Hornish's first laps led in NASCAR. 18. WallaceFan posted: 05.27.2008 - 2:54 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'd like to say that imo both drivers were equally at fault. Brad for bumping him under caution and Denny for lifting him off the ground. I'd also like to point out that i am a huge Dale JR fan, but i cannot stand Keselowski and his "i think i'm a rockstar attitude". Jr just was quoted as saying Keselowski's attitude gets on his nerves because he thinks hes a superstar already. That kid has alot of maturing to do before he makes it anywhere. 19. The Real Thomas posted: 05.27.2008 - 3:28 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Let's straighten this whole thing out. Brad shouldn't have lifted Denny's tires off the ground for no reason under caution. Denny shouldn't have complained so much about being raced hard by Brad. The crews have a right to be upset since they put their heart and soul into racing. Kyle Busch is a punk. 20. Jr said that Brad is too vocal and thinks it's because he's being more like Jr, but Brad has always been vocal. When Leffler wrecked the crap out of him when he drove for Keith Coleman at Bristol, he was vocal about that. Anyone who thinks Brad Keselowski has a cocky, "rock star" attitude is sadly mistaken and I'd bet money that they don't know him personally whatsoever. 22. Q Lazzarus posted: 05.27.2008 - 9:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) also, "lifted rear tires off the ground"? that's only what denny said. the replay is pretty clear that he barely got a nudge, and why would Brad nudge Denny under caution for no reason? It was in regard to something on the track. Simple as that. Don't be cocky about things you're wrong about. 23. Cfobes posted: 05.27.2008 - 10:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I've watched Brad grow and mature as a driver since his days in a Factory Stock at the Auto City Speedway in Clio, MI. Denny Hamlin's ego got the best of him. If anyone thinks he is a "rockstar" it's Denny "I Complain When Things Don't Always Go My Way" Hamlin. He's the first to complain about his crew, the first to complain about other drivers. Forget about sticking a mic in his face after a race, give that whiny infant a bottle and a diaper change. Great run for brad, his best career finish. 24. DaleSrFanForever posted: 05.28.2008 - 12:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Denny "I Complain When Things Don't Always Go My Way" Hamlin.
