Joey Logano was doing awesome before he got bumped by Biffle. Typical of Biff to be crying and getting all defensive afterwards. "IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!!11" Also, great runs for Stremme, Bires, Cassill, Green, Wallace, Barrett, and Lamar. Amazing what these guys can do without the Cuppers in there hogging all the money and points. 2. WallaceFan posted: 06.08.2008 - 10:22 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Good job to Kes on his first win. He didn't have the best car throughout the race, but he was able to get fresh tires on the last caution, and that enabled him to pass the leaders. Tough luck for Logano who was dominating untill he got a little love tap from King Biffle. Great runs for Stremme, Reut, Mike Wallace, Bires and Cassill 3. Good job for Sheppy too..24th very solid run there 4. WallaceFan posted: 06.08.2008 - 10:25 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Clint Bowyer needs to shut up. Stremme got into him a bit on the last lap and passed him and Bowyer goes off about how he's running for the championship and that this is the reason why Stremme isn't in Cup anymore. Guess what. If you're a Cup driver, and you're gonna run Busch? Prepare to actually be raced hard. Either shut up or don't race. 5. If there were not as many Buschwhackers, some of these guys you rarely hear about would have won by now. As for Joey Logano, there is no excuse for 31st with Joe Gibbs equipment, the pole, and all of that talent. Riding around the track like Robert Richardson, Kevin Lepage or Eric McClure with the best nationwide equipment there is wouldn't get Danica Patrick a Cup ride. How disappointing. 7. Joey got stuck behind the #9 car of Chase Miller (who announcer Andy Petree incorrectly called Kasey Kahne) and got squeezed between Greg Biffle and Miller, and to make matter worse Kyle Busch made it 4 wide. Biffle backed out but accidently clipped Logano and sent him spinning. But who cares a Nationwide regular won the race :) 8. b4il3y posted: 06.08.2008 - 4:54 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Brad has had an awesome season in the Busch series, and finally gets his 1st win. Lots of good runs in this race for Busch regulars because the cup guys finally stayed home (still, 3rd 4th and 5th were regulars.) 9. Actually great runs for Stremme, Landon Cassill and Chase Miller. And once agian the ageless wonder Morgan Shepherd, I still believe he'll pull off a top 20 or top 15 sometime in the next couple of races. 10. Did you even watch the race? There's a REASON he finished 31st and it wasn't even of his own making. 12. RD posted: 06.09.2008 - 10:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Mark O. is right Willy! If you had been watching you would have seen that Logano can run laps in the best equipment, in clean air, with the field spread out. But race? If he had average equipment like most of the field its unlikely he would get to mid pack. Coleman did as well last year in Gibbs stuff. 13. DaleSrFanForever posted: 06.09.2008 - 1:47 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Actually the Logano crash was Kyle Busch's fault. Coming off of turn 4 he was on the bottom, 4 wide, and just drove up like nobody was there, and he forced Biff into Joey. He simply has no respect for anyone else. But he damaged his own car in between trashing 2 Cup cars in one weekend. It felt so ggod to watch his "weekend trifecta" fail so miserably. And, most importantly, congrats to Brad. He deserves it. I like the way he doesn't take any crap from the Cup guys. They just want it to be their own playground and have nobody mess with them while they "have fun and race with no pressure". What a crock. I can't believe Bowyer's interview. If you can't handle the heat then STAY IN POCONO!!! Jerk. 14. WallaceFan posted: 06.10.2008 - 1:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Zed_3_88fan4eva- you said its nice to see someone win without cup backing. Not true, Keselowski basically drives for Hendrick. Jr and Hendrick's teams combined at the start of the year, and Hendrick gives JR as much spoort as he needs. So i wouldnt say that he has no cup backing. 16. Incredible, we would go on to many more incredible things, some boneheaded but one of the most fiercest competitors. Also number 1 called his shot on champion. 22. Paul posted: 02.12.2016 - 12:19 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) There were seven substitute drivers on-hand to accommodate the drivers pulling double-duty between the Nationwide race in Nashville and the Cup race at Pocono Raceway during this race weekend. Here's a list of those drivers: #2 - Stephen Leicht (sub for Clint Bowyer) #6 - Auggie Vidovich (sub for David Ragan) #16 - Casey Atwood (sub for Greg Biffle) #32 - Willie Allen (sub for Kyle Busch) #38 - Chad Blount (sub for Jason Leffler) [Leffler ran a few Cup races for Haas CNC Racing in 2008.] #60 - Jason Hedlesky (sub for Carl Edwards) #99 - Josh Wise (sub for David Reutimann) [Wise was also driving the No. 22 Fitz Motorsports car at Nashville. Kevin Hamlin helped set-up his car during first practice.] All seven of the double-duty drivers were able to qualify their cars for the race. Greg Biffle, Kyle Busch, and Jason Leffler were the only three to not get any practice time prior to qualifying. Also, Shane Hall and Derrike Cope had practiced and qualified the Nos. 4 and 49 cars for Jay Robinson Racing, respectively, but for whatever reason they switched rides before the race started. Cope did have faster times in both practice and qualifying than Hall had, but it appears that both cars were entered as start-and-park entries (although Cope did last quite a bit longer than Hall during the race.). 23.
