He had worked his way back to 15th when Bobby Hamilton Jr dumped him in turn 2. 2. 88Drake posted: 06.29.2008 - 10:28 am Rate this comment: (0) (4) Ugh, Wallacefan, About your comment "Hes (Steven Wallace) really showing a lot of maturity this year". Wallace wrecked the #27, ON THE SECOND LAP!!! What is the wreck count up to now? 3. To be as nice as I can! 5. samfan22 posted: 06.29.2008 - 1:59 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Yes, Steve caused a lap 2 wreck. But he still proved he's more mature than last year by apologizing after doing it. Last year he never admitted he did anything wrong, and this year he's apologizing for the wrecks he causes. And he's still not causing nearly as many. He is maturing from last year, then again that's hard to do. 6. WallaceFan posted: 06.29.2008 - 5:18 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) That was not Steven's fault at all. They were coming 4wide off turn 2 on lap 2. He backed off but still clipped him, and he apologized right away. It was just a racing accident. Tough day for Steve anyways, he didnt have a great car and just managed to hang around on the lead lap untill the end, but overall decent day. 8. WallaceFan posted: 06.29.2008 - 5:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) On to the race, tough day for Cassill, I think during these series of events I have lost all respect for Bobby Jr (who was previously one of my favorite drivers). Anyways good race for Gibbs drivers. Nice to honor Todd Braun's mom with all Black cars for the 32 and 38. Great runs for Jason Keller, Dario Franchitti, Carpentier and Morgan Shepherd at 25th. 9. "With the start of the race the car still did not turn very well and brakes were a bit of a problem, which comes as a result of a car that will not turn. We just did the best we could until Steven Wallace wrecked us. The mental giant must have needed a caution and used me up." 14. DaleSrFanForever posted: 06.30.2008 - 3:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (5) HAHA!! The mental giant. I'll have to remember that one. But yeah, another week, another wreck caused by Steve. Again, everyone does it from time to time, but not every week. He just isn't very good at all. He doesn't even run good either. He'll never make it. 16. WallaceFan posted: 07.01.2008 - 5:24 pm Rate this comment: (4) (0) They didnt actually show it at all, but from what i saw Cope was running very slow with Steve trying to pass him and Steve just got him loose after he lost his patience. Cope should take a long look at himself and his career before he goes ripping younger drivers. 17. hyltonfan08 posted: 01.31.2009 - 1:35 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Mike Potter's best career finish. 18. hyltonfan60 posted: 02.11.2009 - 7:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (5) Oh, and WallaceFan, Derrike Cope is a NASCAR veteran and a former Daytona 500 winner. As far as being slow, it's not his fault he didn't have a rich Daddy to give him a good ride. And he doesn't cause half as many wrecks. Stop being such a fanboy and man up to the fact that he is the one member of the Wallace racing family who doesn't have talent. 19.
