Bobby Hillin Jr. returns to NASCAR and wrecks twice. 3. WallaceFan posted: 09.27.2008 - 11:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Mark Martin took a pretty hard hit. He spun out and pancaked the wall with his drivers side. He was in the car for awhile and finally got out. He then attempted to walk down the track but had to sit down for a minute. He looked pretty shook up. Kyle Busch had a hard head on hit to the wall also. Busch was slowing down to pit and Mike Bliss ran into the back of him. Good job to Hamlin winning this one. Harvick had the best car but had battery problems. 4. WallaceFan posted: 09.27.2008 - 11:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tough day for Steve. Qualified mid pack like usual, had a top 15 car during practices. He was driving good but blew an engine 15 laps in. He seemed content in his interview and showed some nice maturity. Pretty exicted for the Talladega race coming up. He was running top 5 there in the Spring untill he was caught up in the infamous Kevin Lepage accident. 5. You're a hero for spinning Kyle Busch." Bliss and the #1 Chevy team don't actually have a souvenir trailer. 6. The Truck and cup series are racing in Talladega next week. 7. Bliss also commented that he only wished that it was intentional when he spun him. 8. I explained why I have 13 drivers listed on the NNS Michigan comments. 1 Clint Bowyer 5820 2 Kyle Busch 5793 3 Carl Edwards 5757 4 Brad Keselowski 5684 5 David Ragan 5684 6 Mike Bliss 5683 7 David Stremme 5674 8 Jason Keller 5575 9 David Reutimann 5572 10 Jason Leffler 5564 11 Marcos Ambrose 5563 12 Mike Wallace 5536 13 Steve Wallace 5498 This is just for fun, I calculated the points myself with nothing better to do with my spare time. Just thought I would do this to answer the "What if the Nationwide Series used the Chase Format in 2008" question for anyone else who had wondered that also. 9. About as hard as you can pancake the wall on the drivers side, Mark likely wouldn't be with us if this crash occurred 10 years prior. He was knocked out by the crash and was dazed walking to the ambulance, but turned out okay. 14.
