Pretty tough words from a guy who's won precisely nothing in NASCAR. 2. hyltonfan58 posted: 10.11.2008 - 1:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Justin Allgaier's first career start. Best career finishes for Scott Lagasse Jr., Brandon Whitt, and Danny Efland. 3. 18fan posted: 10.11.2008 - 1:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kyle wins his fourth Nationwide race at Charlotte and his second in a row. His 20th career N'Wide win and 20th overall this year. Kyle's move on those two restarts were legal because he kept the pace car speed and went between the restart point and the start/finish line. 4. Seems that whenever he wins a Nationwide race, he does it in a boring, lead 90% of the laps way. 5. WallaceFan posted: 10.11.2008 - 8:49 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Wow where do I start. The race ended about 12:30 after two red flags for rain and a bunch of cautions. Nobody drove good, wrecks , wrecks and more wrecks. Kyle Busch brake checks on restarts. Nascar warned him the first time after it took out about 5 cars, and he does it again and takes out another 6-7 great cars. Jeff Burton shouldve won this race. Overall it was pretty exciting though. Mike Wallace finishes 10th after being in 2wrecks, Joey Logano nailed the wall and managed 14th? Mike Bliss was DESTROYED! and he finsihes 20th on the lead lap. Just some bad driving out there. 6. WallaceFan posted: 10.11.2008 - 8:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tough day for Steve. He was running in 10th battling with Allgaier and a few others when the 31 of Jeff Green (5laps down) was blocking them. Green got loose and Steve ran into him, causing Green to almost turn over, Allgaier was just clipped by Steve and slammed the wall hard ending his impressive debut. In his interview Green blamed Steve and said he wrecked to many cars, and he needs to "slow down to go faster". Earlier in the race the same thing happened to the slow Green and Mike Bliss and Bliss was very upset. (as heard of his radio transmission) Green is not in a competitive car, and while he may feel like hes going fast hes not. He needs to yield to the faster front running cars, and take the blame for accidents he starts. Steve however was very calm in his interview and did not blame Green, and said it was just a racing accident. He was on his way to a top 10 or at least top15, but well look forward to Memphis. 7. RaceFanX posted: 10.11.2008 - 10:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jeff Green got airborne in a crash with Steven Wallace and David Reuitmann. Allgaier was collected and took a hard lick into the frontstretch wall driver's side first. All drivers were okay. 8. Dodge posted: 10.12.2008 - 9:16 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Wallacefan First off, Busch did not breakcheck, he was doing what the leaders can do, bring the field down at pacecar speed. ESPN even showed it when they had the graphics up. Finally, I don't think YOU should be badmouthing any drivers for causeing wrecks. BECAUSE STEVE CAUSE A LOT MORE WRECKS THAN ANYBODY. SO MANY THAT I CAN NOT REMEMBER ALL OF THEM. When Steve came up I thought he may have what it took to be successful but its clear as day that he doesn't have it. PS. I AM NOT A BIG FAN OF KYLE BUSCH BUT I'D RATHER SEE HIM WIN THAN SOMEONE LIKE JEFF BURTON. 9. WallaceFan posted: 10.12.2008 - 2:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Steve may have cause 1 or 2 wrecks this year. Yeah he was in a bunch last year but hes learned. Stop looking at his past and look at him now. If he causes a wreck he takes the blame. 10. Dodge posted: 10.12.2008 - 4:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Steve has caused many wrecks this year, just like last year. As someone said before he wrecked in the garage at Daytona testing. Plus in practice or qualifying a few times. Wallacefan, open up your eyes, please. 11. Anonymous posted: 10.12.2008 - 6:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Just one week I wish you guys would quit using this site to bash Steven Wallace. It's like you all have a vendetta against the guy. He's learning. 12. WallaceFan posted: 10.12.2008 - 9:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I would like you to put a list of wrecks that he ACTUALLY CAUSED this year. There have been 2-5 at most. And another thing, MARK MARTIN also wrecked at Daytona Testing in the Garage Area, he did the exact same thing Steve did and hit a pole. 13. FreshGeek posted: 10.12.2008 - 9:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) He spun out on his own at Las Vegas. At Dover he got into Landon Cassill. Those are the only two accidents I can count that he started. He was just a victim of circumstance all the other times. Lay off the kid, he may be something some day. 14. Neal posted: 10.12.2008 - 10:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dodge - You're kidding right? Jeff Burton is a class act and is well liked and respected throughout the garage area. Kyle Busch is a snot-nosed, arrogant, detestable little puke. I'd rather see someone like Jeff Burton knock Kyle Busch into the wall, but he won't do it because he's got more class and dignity in his pinky than Vile Busch has in his entire body. 15. Mark O. posted: 10.13.2008 - 8:26 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Interesting stat...Jimmie Johnson has crashed out of the last four fall races at Charlotte. Nice run by Kenny Wallace in his underfunded effort. 16. Dodge posted: 10.13.2008 - 8:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The reason I don't like Burton is what he did to Roush in 2004. Roush committed to run him even if they didn't have a sponsor and for the most part, they didn't. And don't worry, there will be another driver to make Kyle look like a nice guy. Anyone see the ARCA race at Toledo on October 12? Speed intentionally wrecked someone because he was mad because the other driver got into him. Scott Speed was already on probation there. Shows he isn't smart. 17. Jimmy John posted: 10.13.2008 - 10:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The points battle would be more interesting in the NNS if they used the Chase format. I doubt Busch will run at Memphis in 2 weeks but here's how the Chase Standings would look in this series after 6 of 10 races: 1 Kyle Busch 5988 2 Clint Bowyer 5980 3 Carl Edwards 5917 4 Brad Keselowski 5826 5 David Ragan 5811 6 Mike Bliss 5794 7 David Stremme 5744 8 Marcos Ambrose 5681 9 Jason Leffler 5673 10 Mike Wallace 5670 11 David Reutimann 5663 12 Jason Keller 5651 13 Steve Wallace 5565 18. Neal posted: 10.14.2008 - 9:40 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jimmy John - Old points or new points, Kyle Busch and Mike Bliss in the Top 10 prove why the Cup guys don't belong in the Nationwide Series. Kyle's missed 3 races yet is 6th in points. Even though Bliss isn't a Cup regular he's benefitted by their irregular appearances. He's made every race, yet only has 3 Top 5 finishes and he's 4th in points. 19. DaleSrFanForever posted: 10.15.2008 - 12:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) You are right about Scott Speed, Dodge. How many incidents do you you think he will be involved in next year? His attitude sucks, he isn't mature, he thinks he is the best thing ever even though he totally sucked in F1, and he has limited stock car experience. It's gonna be a long year for the Red Bull folks. 21. Dodge posted: 10.15.2008 - 11:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) On Wednesday's edition of NASCAR Now, Speed went and criticized ARCA for how he raced. He said that he hasn't caused any wrecks in trucks. When asked if he is a hot head, he got rude. The reason why he wasn't in any wrecks in the trucks is he is a part-timer and he knows that the full-timers would put him in the wall if he tried what he did in Arca. Speed is a tough guy, when asked if he wrecked Stenhouse, he said "I did whatever I had to to make sure he wouldn't win the Championship." When the host said so you did wreck him intentionally, he sat there and said "He got what he deserved." A prediction for how many wrecks or cause a wreck, I'd say ADD UP ALL OF STEVE WALLACES WRECKS AND TIMES THAT BY 3. Gonna be like McDowell all over again. Just with RBR. 22. Neal posted: 10.16.2008 - 12:09 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) DaleSrFanForever - I'm willing to give Scott Speed a pass on the F-1 experience. The Toro Rosso F-1 team is a complete joke. It's Minardi with a different name. The team has one win in F-1. Their star driver, Sebastien Bourdais - who is arguably the best CART driver EVER - is struggling mightily. 23. Have some success with a successful team, then think you are all that. I read transcripts of that interview Dodge, it's gonna be interesting next year. Some people are saying Kyle Busch will lose his #1 most hated driver title next year. 25. Old School Fan posted: 10.17.2008 - 10:23 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) DaleSrFanForever, are you serious? In your list of wrecks that Steve Wallace has caused you included wrecking Jeff Green at the Fall Charlotte race. Did you watch the race (and the wreck) or just listen to Jeff Green cry after HE destroyed several good racecars? Jeff Green was slow and in the way and Steve still didn't cause the wreck. Maybe he took a little air of the spoiler (something Dale Sr. was famous for), but Jeff Green was almost completly sideways BEFORE Steve got into him. There was nowhere for Steve to go at that point! 27. DaleSrFanForever posted: 10.17.2008 - 11:35 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) First of all, S**** W****** showed no signs of slowing down once he got to Jeff, and did what he has done his whole career, kept the throttle mashed until his car was equally mashed. Secondly, even if it wasn't He Who Shall Not Be Named's fault, that is still a big friggin list for a second year driver who is "maturing" and "learning". Yes every driver causes a wreck every now and then, but only one driver has been constantly at the epicenter of a wreck every other week for the last two and a half years. At this point S**** W****** has lost the benefit of the doubt. 28. DaleSrFanForever posted: 10.17.2008 - 11:37 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) By the way, how often was Dale Sr actually involved in his own wreck? He was smart enough to realize that if you take the air off the spoiler in front of you, they will spin out. S**** W****** on the other had just kept the gas down and tore his own car up, AGAIN!! He isn't very smart. 29. Rowdy posted: 02.27.2009 - 10:26 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kyle's first win sponsored by NOS Energy! 30. RCRandPenskeGuy posted: 10.16.2009 - 4:08 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dodge, Jeff Burton left Roush probably because Jack is a real asshole to work for. The guy fired Joe Ruttman in 1998 at the team's Christmas party (Joe had no idea he was going to be fired) despite finishing third in the Truck Series point standings that year. He has dropped a long line of development drivers simply because he is impatient. Jeff would have found himself the odd man out anyway, so it was best to leave when he did. Combine those facts with the sponsor situation on the #99 car, and you can't blame him at all for leaving. Richard Childress offered Jeff a better deal, and he just took it. Now Jeff has a great organization to race for until he retires. Oh, and I would rather see Jeff Burton win over Crybaby Kyle any day. ;) 31.
