- Amazing how some guys forgot how to restart...twice.
- AJ pulls off his best finish in the Nationwide series despite not
having raced in it for over a year. It's a crime to not give this guy a
ride.
- I'm happy Carl won the race but just like what he's done in Cup, it's
too little too late. Had it not been for his last place finish at
Darlington things might have been quite different as far as points go.

What a name for a race. Nascar would sell its soul for a dollar.

It's not as bad as the Spongebob Squarepants 300 back in 2004

Is it just me, or is John Wes Townley looking a lot like The One Man
Whosoever Shalt Eternally Remain Without a Name and M****** McD*****
(thanks Willy). It seems like everytime I've seen him race in Nationwide
or the trucks he has crashed. He is very raw right now, so I'll give him
the benefit of the doubt, but he is tearing a lot of stuff up for now.

Yeah, Townley wrecked in truck qualiying, truck race in a backup,
Nationwide qualifying and Naionwide race in a backup car. Yet he will
race FULLTIME IN THE NATIONWIDE Series next year for Robby Benton.

Why are so many cars a lap down? There weren't any real long green flag
runs...

Bronco, you could also throw Carl's 37th place finish at Bristol in
August as a reason for being so far behind Bowyer.

If they had the Chase format, it would basically be the opposite with
Bowyer chasing Edwards after race 9 of 10:
1 Carl Edwards 6482
2 Clint Bowyer 6405
3 Kyle Busch 6338
4 David Ragan 6229
5 Brad Keselowski 6184
6 Mike Bliss 6174
7 David Stremme 6070
8 Mike Wallace 6056
9 David Reutimann 6045
10 Marcos Ambrose 6028
11 Jason Leffler 6000
12 Jason Keller 5969
13 Steve Wallace 5846

Another great run going for Steve, sitting anywhere form 5-15 until he
was involved in the first restart accident. (took out alot of good
cars). He ran well at homestead last year, so looking forward to a good
end to a rough year.

Great job for Edwards, Bowyer(finished 4th with a beat up car), Cassill,
Logano, Allgaier and Allmendinger.)

I used to love watching races on Saturday. But now, it's incredibly
lame. I haven't even bothered to watch a Nationwide race since Bristol.
Though, I did catch the last 20 laps of Memphis. I used to love watching
the future stars of the sport duke it out with the current stars, but
now it's all Cup drivers, all the time. I just really hate what the
BUSCH Series has become.

Hamlin was the best car all day but the crew put the wrong tires on the
car and he pitted a 2nd time to have the correct set put on. He slashed
through the field but ran out of time catching leader Carl Edwards on
the final lap but with no time to make a move on him.

Townley had a strange weekend crashing both his #09 Truck and Nationwide
car off turn 4 in qualifying for both events. As both wrecked autos
limped around the track the right front tire came off in the dog leg -
BOTH TIMES. In a split screen the Truck and Nationwide incidents are
indentical both in how he hit the turn 4 wall AND how the right front
tire came off half a lap later.

FYI he has just signed a deal to run with RCR in 2010...

Currently Robby Gordon Motorsports only Nationwide start that didnt
feature Robby Gordon in the car.
