Great runs by Justin Allgaier, Steve Wallace, Scott Lagesse Jr., Kenny Wallace, and Burney Lamar. I am not a Steve Wallace Fan, but I give where it is due. John Wes Townley gets best finish in his career so far in the Nationwide series. Justin Allgaier gets back to back top 10 finshes in his rookie year in the Nationwide series. 2. I doubt he's going to win the championship but I hope he at least picks up some more wins. Good job to him to still finish 12th on the lead lap. This was also Brendan Gaughan's first pole and Allgaier's first top 5. And a great run for Steve Wallace. I was sad to see Morgan Shepherd run most of the race and wreck his car, it looked about 2 feet shorter once he was done. On the other hand it was nice to see Joe Nemechek lead 12 laps in an unsponsored car. 3. I think he is really one to watch for the future. I hope he keeps his head on his shoulders. 4. (1989 Daytona 500) up to the middle of the race where they had that last pit stop, Kyle Busch was pretty much dominating, I couldnt believe that his crew left that tire on pit road causing Kyle to restart @ the end of the lead lap cars with 41 to go. At the end he finished 6th, so what did he do? He went straight out of the track,. I saw his face when he was leaving, he was so mad & I wasnt. Brad Keselowski spins twice, & finishes 12th. But I hope he starts to do better than he know because he cant take a break. Great run for Justin Allgaier, Im hoping Brad Keselowski, and Allgaier have good seasons. Also Gaughan because he has the cup experience when he drove the #77. Good run for Lagasse, Steve Wallace, Scott Speed, & Kenseth. I thought it was funny what Carl said post-race after a 2nd place finish. He gains a lot of pts. on this good run, & Kyle Busch still gained 2 point positions. Mainly because Biffle, @ Vickers didnt race this week. All & all, it was a good race. 6. Anonymous posted: 03.21.2009 - 10:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "How about Justin Allgaier? Also this was Trevor Bayne's first start. 7. New14&88 Fan posted: 03.22.2009 - 12:10 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kevin Harvick's first win driving his own car, gotta say he deserved this one. Great runs for Justin Allgaier,Steve Wallace,Scott Lagasse Jr.,Kenny Wallace, and Burney Lamar. Brad Keselowski just can't buy a break,at least he still finished top15 and on the lead lap.Hopefully the 88 can turn it around soon. 8. Big win for one of my home boy's Kevin Harvick. Nice to see him get his first win as a driver/owner. You knew it would only be a matter of time. 9. Anonymous posted: 03.22.2009 - 2:53 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) They shouldn't put allgaier in the 77 next year, or else it will be like logano. He'll be fine staying where he is 10. Neal posted: 03.22.2009 - 11:30 am Rate this comment: (3) (0) Kyle Busch once again reinforces the notion that he's a spoiled little brat who's always gotten whatever he cries for and has never had to work for any of it. If I were his parents I'd be ashamed of his childish temper tantrums. On the plus side, Kyle's behavior does open up sponsorhip opportunities for Huggies, Pull-Ups, and Pampers. 11. DaleSrFanForever posted: 03.22.2009 - 12:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) HAHA Neal! That is a great post. I'd be so embarrassed if I were him. He has the right to be mad, but he is also an adult and should act like one. You are also right about him never having to work for anything and pouting when things don't go his way. I have mixed feelings about Allgaier going to the #77 car next year. If he continues to improve and keeps showing strength at all different types of tracks as he is now, then yes, give him a shot. Unlike Logano, he is older than 18 and more importantly will have had an entire Nationwide year under his belt, as well as years in the ARCA Series in family built and owned cars. One thing is for sure, they need to get Sideways Sam outta there!! *Bill Elliott nods silently* 12. Great runs for Allgaier and Scott Speed as well. Awsome to see Joe Nemechek hold off the leaders for a few laps. Morgan Shepherd was first wrecked by Paul Menard (who did apologize), and then caught up in Kes 7 car mess. Hopefully he can make it to the track next week. KENNY WALLACE 9th IN POINTS! 13. Matito posted: 03.22.2009 - 3:30 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) What exactly was Menard doing in the race? It seems pretty dumb to me that Yates would just buy a Nationwide car for one short track race for Menard, a guy who has experience at Bristol in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup cars, but isnt running for any type of drivers or owners championship. 15. " You can thank the braindead idiots that run NASCAR for that. Because for some reason, they felt California deserved a cha$e race, so they pulled the fall Atlanta race and moved it to Labor Day weekend. Then they take the spring Nationwide Atlanta race and move it to the fall Atlanta race weekend. That comment he made about Leffler last year at Dover was pretty stupid. If he would stop double dipping in other series maybe he wouldnt have that problem. 21. I don't think Yates had to buy a car for Nationwide, they have plenty of chassis. This certainly was not a one-off. I'm surprised that people are wondering why Menard was in the race. Why was anyone in the race that isn't running the entire schedule? I don't know... to race? lol 23.
