Yeah, YOU WERE SITTING BACKWARDS ON THE TRACK UP AGAINST THE WALL!! I'D SAY THAT IS THE WRONG PLACE!! I also love those Extenze commercials. "If it didn't do something amazing, could we afford to do this?" This will be Kevin Conway's legacy. Didn't David Starr used to drive for them? 3. Too bad, I was seriously hoping for a Nationwide regular to win considering this is one of the few stand alone Nationwide races of the year. Looks like Shrub pretty much has this championship all locked up barring a huge collapse, I don't think Carl and Brad have the horsepower to catch him. I also thought Brendan's comments about the 10 car were pretty funny, and for the most part they were dead on. His spotter should have cleared him before he hooked a left turn into the garage. 4. Guitar smashing is nothing new. It has been done in concerts since the 1960's. Great runs by Stephen Leight, Darnell, Coleman, Howard, Bobby Hamilton Jr., and Morgan Shepherd. What was the 10 crew thinking with Marc Davis trying to turn into the garage during pit stops for the teams on track? 5. WallaceFan posted: 06.07.2009 - 12:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Another great run by Steve, was up to 5th, but faded a bit late. Brendan Gaughan was wrecked during green flag pit stops after Marc Davis cut in front of him to enter the garage at about 5mph. Brendan said alot of funny things including calling Marc a "college graduate wannabe" and saying they must be better educated at Howard University then at Georgetown. A little racist? Maybe...But funny? Of couse. 6. WallaceFan posted: 06.07.2009 - 12:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Mixed feelings about Kyle Busch smashing the guitar. He said he wanted to give everyone on his team a piece...which i thought was really cool. But Sam Bass sure put a whole lot of time into that..so im sure he wasnt too pleased. Anyways great runs for Leicht, Steve, Mcdowell, Darnell, Howard, and Bobby Jr again. 7. He supposedly said it was funny to watch. 10. WallaceFan posted: 06.07.2009 - 9:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bronco - Those comments could be heard over Brendans radio almost immediatley after the accident took place. ESPN played a clip of it near the end of the race, but not the full transmission. 11. WallaceFan posted: 06.07.2009 - 9:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) During the cup race they said Kyle Busch agreed to purchase 2 Sam Bass Guitars, and like Dodge said Bass was not upset. So with that i dump the mixed feelings and say that it was awsome. Also, i agree with DaleSr Fan (for once). What is with this Townley?! 12. As for the race, it was nice to see a lot of green flag action. Unfortunately, with someone like Kyle Busch around, that means that it's a runaway as well. 13. New14&88 Fan posted: 06.07.2009 - 10:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Not much note-worthy about this one.Shrub smashing the guitar in victory was sort of amusing though. Whoever was spotting for Marc Davis needs to be canned...he should of waited for Gaughan to pass him before hanging a left into the garage area. Brendan's comments on that were spot on. 14. Busch gets away from his bad luck from the last 3 weeks and gets the win and becomes the youngest driver to get 25 Nascar Nationwide (BUSCH) series wins Also.. HIS BURNOUT WAS THE BEST ONE IVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!! even if espn (as usual) doesnt get a camera on it in time it was awesome as for the guitar smashing it was totally unexpected but i liked it it was awesome to see a driver put aside the fear that other have of ruining it (i certainly would never do it) but looking back on it now... there was a couple other things he coulda done for the team instead of wrecking a very expensive guitar that had a lot of work put into it. i think Boris Said, Said it best earlier today when he said kyle was rich enough to buy his entire team exact replicas of the guitar. that would be what i would have done. 16. He said that he did not say it but two sponsor Reps on Davis's car claim they heard him say it. I wouldn't be surprised if the reps lied because Davis knows each member of Gaughan's team has more talent in their finger than Marc Davis has in his entire body. Mark my word: Marc Davis is only here to help NASCAR's image. He sucks as a driver. Seems like he is always wrecking. 18. You're right about him being there to showcase NASCAR's "diversity". Looking at his stats, I don't even know what the heck he's doing in the Nationwide series when he hasn't even won a Camping World East race yet. Anyone remember the dumb lawsuit from the NAACP who claimed to be upset about the use of Confederate flags at NASCAR events? 19. DaleSrFanForever posted: 06.12.2009 - 1:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I can't believe they suspended him based on the word of two of MARC's people. I would need much more evidence before making a decision of that magnitude. 20. Bronco | 06.12.09 - 9:43 am Bronco exactly, NA$CAR is just trying to protect its image to keep the NAACP and the other race-baiters happy. Only Brian France's NA$CAR would take the words of two SPONSOR REPS over the word of a crew chief and his owner who happens to be a former champion...Bill France Sr., Bill Jr. ,Wendell Scott and other stock car pioneers must be spinning in their graves at this blatant stupidity. 21. I play guitar as well as being a race fan, and there's many many many guitarists who would love to have a Gibson Les Paul but will never afford one. Geez grandpa, did you forget to take your medication? That's what them dang kids have been doing for 40 years. Smashing guitars is just pure Rock and Roll. And worrying about hurting someone's feelings is about the lamest, un-Rock and Roll thing you could possibly do. Also, how exactly is Busch a cheater? Was he caught cheating? Some losers will complain about anything I guess. 28.
