Sadly, that prediction still isn't THAT inaccurate. I know people like 83andJoe are going to thumbs me down and call people like me whiners, but seriously, how could anyone actually enjoy watching Kyle Busch dominate? He's driving a car that is at least 5x superior to 95% of the rest of the teams out there. Even if the racing itself might be good, it's hard to feel that way because BSPN totally kills my opinion of the races by constantly acting as Kyle's personal cheerleaders. 21. I don't want them to make another one like it, I want someone who knows how to make a movie to do it. I enjoy taking shots at Follywood whenever I can, because they deserve it these days. That movie Getaway is a porno for the people who just want to see a bunch of cars get destroyed. Hell, their tv trailer used footage of the Bowyer-Logano wreck from the Dover Nationwide race 2 years ago, but with the cars poorly edited. I think Bowyer's car had the sponsor censored, the number changed to 65 and car make changed to Toyota. I don't know if that's actually in the movie but that's what they're using to market to viewers, edited footage of a NASCAR wreck. That strikes me as tasteless, so I felt like writing about it 103. Otherwise, there would be no reason for Vickers and Sadler not to even be competitive. Both guys were lapped in last night's race before finishing on the lead lap due to the insane wave-around, which doubled the number of cars on the lead lap at the end from nine to 18. And Sadler was still the last lead lap finisher (even behind the spinning Travis Pastrana) and Vickers wasn't that far in front of him. This tells me that Gibbs doesn't even care about whether one if his drivers wins the championship. Saying that, I'm not convinced yet that this is a two-way race for the Nationwide Series title, even though it's beginning to look that way. Remember that with the 3-poin bump for winning off the table, since no championship contending driver is going to win again this season, with the possible exception of Kentucky, when the Cup and Nationwide Series are split that weekend, consistency is the key, and I'm not sure I trust the Penske team from a mechanical standpoint, nor do I trust the Childress team from a performance standpoint enough to say that this is a 2-way battle. The one thing working in the favor of Hornish and Austin Dillon is that those behind can't win races to catch up, because of the Cup regulars taking those away. They're not yet far enough ahead of third to concentrate on racing each other and not worrying about anyone else, but if this continues on for two more races, then they may be. Sadler and Regan Smith both still have a chance at the title, but I think everyone else from fifth on back may be out of it now. And if Sadler and Smith each struggle over the next two or three races and Hornish and Dillon don't, then I think it becomes a two-way battle, and we'll see Hornish and Dillon race each other and not worry about what anyone else does. 109. ch posted: 09.01.2013 - 10:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsor Changes: 4 - Line-X 6 - Sam's Club / Cargill 14 - Reynold's Wrap / Hefty 19 - Reliable Heating & Air 23 - North Texas Pipe 50 - Defiant Whisky 51 - Value Lighting / All South Electrical Contractors (Same for Bristol last week) 52 - Donate Life 55 - Viva Motorsports 70 - ML Motorsports 79 - Techniweld / Pull-A-Part Used Auto Parts 87 - England's Stove Works 110. joey2448 posted: 09.01.2013 - 6:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I also found it odd that that movie trailer featured a quick clip of that Nationwide wreck at Dover in 2011 with Bowyer nearly turning over. When I first saw it, I was only half paying attention to whatever I was watching, but I saw that NASCAR clip, I turned my full attention to it, but that was all.
