Nope, you'll still end up with The same results. Penske and JGR 1-2, and that would be just as boring. Chives hit the nail on the head. It's Penske and JGR that are ruining the series not the cup drivers. I have no clue if Penske is having him focused on his limited Cup appearances more, or what. Either way, you have a young driver who isn't getting seat-time. Are things really that bad, sponsorship-wise, that Penske has to run a 22 car with Broey Logaslowski and can't find sponsors for a full-time Blaney ride? It makes no sense to have one of the top Cup prospects on the sidelines for these big Xfinity races 216. oldschoolracing519 posted: 05.03.2015 - 10:24 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) @215 he was supposed to be in the car at Bristol or was it Richmond i dont remember anymore which it was, but they wanted him to be able to compete for the dash for cash races, so Joey ran the car there, I think the dash races start with the next race at Iowa? so he will then compete in 4 races and some others after that, just not sure how many total 217. But then I realised it's like having F1 drivers race in GP2. *For Ferrari*. That isn't really fair is it???!!!" Yeah. It's not just that Cup drivers are driving in a lower series. It's that they are driving basically a NXS-spec version of their Cup rides, giving them an ridiculously insane advantage over the full-time NXS-only teams & drivers. 218. One has to wonder if Darrell Wallace Jr. has already plateaued as a racer; I'm not seeing any sign he's getting any better. 222. Means actually won a race as a car owner in what's now the XFinity Series years ago, though it might have been with a different number. And Means has been running the #52 at least since 1977, when he finished eighth in the Daytona 500, and may have used it before that. 228. 84Allmendinger84 posted: 05.04.2015 - 8:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I remember @227 Ed Berrier took the Jimmy Means #77 Lear Ford to Victory Lane at Hickory in 1998 in dominate fashion 229.
