It's probably because it's so close to the wall. while the chances are highly unlikely a car could spin and hit the wall right what a crew member was getting the tire which could lead to him getting hit by part of the car. The more than likely answer tho is probably NASCAR just wanted to bunch up the field lol. 20. Kyle's winning prcentage in the Cup series is currently at 7.88%. In the Xfinity series it at 23.83%. Factor in those numbers and how it's wayyyyyy cheaper to put their product on an Xfinity car and in makes all the sense in the world for Monster to sponsor him there, assuming all they care about is winning that is. 93. In all reality outside of Kyle pretty much every other cup driver has dropped the amount of Xfinity races they run in a season. Guys like Brad Kevin and Joey have gone from 20-30 races down to 15 or less, and some guys like Carl have just stopped racing all together. I can't believe i'm gonna defend him because he his one of my least favorite driver but I truly feel this is more of a Kyle problem than a Cup drivers in general problem. I don't recall guys like Kevin or Joey getting the level hate Kyle does when they win a race in the lower series. I certainly didn't find it all that fun seeing Logano lead 100% of the laps at Bristol or Denny Hamlin (the man who hates running Xfinity races, so the obvious solution is to give him another chance to RACE in this series!) leading 99.9% of the laps the following week at Richmond... Oh, and for the record, I have seen several comments referring to the Cup drivers as "Cuppies". I haven't posted hateful comments about the regulars. Should I leave this section of the boards or should I just not use this name here? 100. I think those two are the only drivers that ever did it (Richmond even won first two races after his return), but I'm not sure... 107. At Daytona Kyle was involved in a horrific crash that led to a leg injury and hospitalized for about 3 months. This happens to be the very first Xfinity series race for Kyle Busch to return after the injury and he did so with style, showing no sign of slowing down with a victory. Of course, he ran a few Cup races (First returning at the non-points Charlotte All-Star race event) prior to this event to get back into the game. 109. rm posted: 02.12.2020 - 7:24 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The NASCAR official race report lists the 26 as out with an electrical DNF status, not a DNS. Besides that, pretty sure that if he was actually a DNS they also wouldn't have listed the purse money as being paid out. 110.
