Looks to be the same old stuff out front, but the cars look looser than I've seen them in a while in this series, so the race may be interesting. 2. That said, Busch is looking for his fourth consecutive win to start his season. I know Ryan Newman won 5 consecutive starts back in 2005, but does anyone know if that's still the all-time record for consecutive wins in this series? 6. Of course. Kyle Busch is our best bet to beat that (I don't doubt it) and he has been mighty close numerous times in the past (winning 6 of 7 starts in a row, 5 of 6 starts in a row, etc). He's already halfway there and has to keep spanking the field really. That 18 car is his almighty power, the Kyle in the 54 has nothing on Kyle in the 18. 10. mbenoit posted: 03.19.2016 - 3:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Actually, I just looked into this further. Mark Martin also won 5 consecutive starts, back in 1993. So the record is shared by two drivers, but like you say Sector, Busch is obviously the best bet to break that record. 11. Larry Mac said it's the teaming up with cup owners that is really the problem, saying also that Kyle never won under his own equipment. Kenny said they need to cut the allowed races to 10, saying that you can't ban them, because of sponsors, tracks. He said limiting to 10 would make everyone happy. Larry Mac also said they need to cut down. I'm really surprised they had this and didn't just say. "Nah, nothing's wrong" Dave Moody from MRN said it's a Kyle Busch problem. Which is debatable. 20. Allow 10 races all before the chase. But allow them specific races not spread out through the season. Also lock in 36 xfinity regulars weekly and let the cup guys battle for the 4 remaining positions. And cup guys will start 37-40 regardless of qualifying speeds. No cup drivers race during the chase. 26. George posted: 03.19.2016 - 4:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @24 He may not cry every time he loses, but he is quite a bit Kyle's Mini-Me. That speaks to his ability, which like Kyle's is considerable. He also has that sense of entitlement & immaturity Kyle is well known for but Jones is still very young and will outgrow it, hopefully without getting too big of an ego (too much success too soon, too immature to handle it) in the process. 27.
