Couple of road ringers this week, including Owen Kelly, Nelson Piquet Jr, Andy Lally, Kenny Habul, Alon Day (the only Israeli driver listed on this site), Tim Cowen and Roger Reuse. 2. The one time Xfinity regulars will have a real shot at winning, the top three in qualifying are a part-timer, a road ringer, and a buschwhacker (the only one in the field, I might add). 4. Considering how little talent I've seen in the truck series in the past 5 years or so, I really didn't think very many truck drivers in that era had potential. Then he has gone winless for Roush while Chris Buescher (a driver I don't rate that highly) won a championship. I mean all right, and he'll probably be in Cup, but I never saw him as a huge prospect. To add to that the only reason Chris won Iowa last year was because there was a yellow with 2 to go. Chase had half a lap lead on the field but he was out of tires when the yellow came out. Chris had a set left and put them on which ultimately won him the race on the GWC. In all reality both drivers probably should of had 0 wins last year as the only reason they were in contention at Dover was because of fuel mileage. 147. Popular car blog Jalopnik ran a story the very next day talking about them and highlighting Day's drive. NASCAR wasn't paying much attention to the Mopars because they had been out of the sport for three full years at this point but they did get some after this race; NASCAR.com's manufacturer standings for the Truck series for instance was updated to include the then-new Ram logo even if there were only occasional entries for that brand in that series too. 333.
