Then he moved to cup which was too early he needed at least a year or two more like he had done in 2012. I think he will finish in the top 20 though today that seems to be his low point so far. 9. JSPorts posted: 04.08.2017 - 1:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I guess the good news for Annett is that there are really only 12 "top" cars driven by full-time Xfinity drivers every week: the 48, 1, 5, 7, 9, 21, 33, 62, 6, 16, 00 & 19. So that means he's pretty much guaranteed to make the Chase unless he's just awful (like can't even run top-20.) They have time to work on the car until the Chase starts. 10. GoPM27 posted: 04.08.2017 - 1:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Posters 6-9 must be newbies. There was a time where Earnhardt Sr., Gordon, and other top drivers had to take a provisional. 11. When is the last time McDowell, DiBenedetto, Annett, or Timmy Hill outqualified Kyle Busch based on speed... Doesn't happen anymore There is literally no excuse for a car with top-5 resources to be 34th fastest in this day and age 20. Register posted: 04.08.2017 - 2:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I wish Bowman was driving the 5 car full time instead of Annett. The only reason Annett is in that car is because of the Pilot sponsorship. What does Pilot see in Annett? Is Pilot owned by the Annett family? 21. Justin Allgaier also spins out in avoidance of the wreck, Brennan Poole gets through with damage from hitting his teammate Reddick, and Kevin Harvick received some cosmetic damage. I think Suarez might've gotten into the back of the 52 car of Joey Gase. 26. Also surprising the #12 car had engine troubles. 6 races = 6 different winners in Xfinity! Even with the Cup drivers. It's been 11 years since Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle, Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne, Jeff Burton and Kyle Busch won the first 6 races in 2006 and they even managed to extend this streak to first 8 races, until Kevin Harvick won again at Phoenix. 51.
