Truck series ace Christopher Bell makes his Xfinity debut and qualifies in the top-10. Carl Long withdrew from the Coke 600 but still gets a shot at Charlotte in this race. Two-time Charlotte winner Jeff Green misses the field. Bummer. 2. "Onion" replaces Ray Black, Jr. in the #07 Chevrolet after Black had sponsorship woes. Bodine's start here is his first at Charlotte in the series since 2005. 4. It sounds like the team may have officially shut down. I feel like because Leicht probably paid to drive the 93 that they will actually try to run the full race. Austin Wayne Self was supposed to make his debut in the 40 car, but Carl Long is now listed in the car. No reason why Self isn't in the car. He practiced on Thursday. Carl's usually really good at keeping people up to date with his race team on Facebook, so I'm sure he'll make a post with an explanation after the race. 5. Only had maybe three or four qualifying runs inside the top-10. Definitely struggling in qualifying this year more than you'd expect given his equipment. 8. Coming off a top 10 in Dega, BJ decided on a ride swap, Brad doesn't make a run, gets the pcp, Jeff is up the creek without a paddle 9. Tyson posted: 05.27.2017 - 12:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @8 - Brad didn't use the past champions provisional. He got in on owners points. Green wasn't eligible for the provisional because he just used it at Talladega. You can only use the PCP once every six starts. 10. Similarly, if a car with a cup driver is found to be illegal after the race, it should be an automatic disqualification. 17. If he did, then NASCAR would list him as starting 40th and last in the race. In addition to Memphis Motorsports Park, I would want to make Myrtle Beach Speedway and Lucas Oil Raceway (formerly known as Indianapolis Raceway Park) be short tracks that can someday return to fielding races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Racing really hasn't been the same at all due to these tracks being taken off the schedule and being forgotten by NASCAR. 46. 48johnsonfan posted: 05.28.2017 - 12:09 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) A bit late in posting this, but I unfortunately saw that Christopher Bell's 18 car failed post race inspection. 47. He's so close to Mark Martin, but too far at the same time and at this rate. Kyle Busch has to really enjoy this, because he's so far ahead of others in number of wins in this series and even those ones too far behind have problems to win regularly. 49.
