I know 4/40 is only theoretically a 10% chance to win, but the Cup guys have won every summer Daytona race since 2006: 2016: Aric Almirola (Cup driver) 2015: Austin Dillon (Cup driver) 2014: Kasey Kahne (Cup driver) 2013: Matt Kenseth (Cup driver) 2012: Kurt Busch (Cup driver) 2011: Joey Logano (Cup driver) 2010: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (Cup driver) 2009: Clint Bowyer (Cup driver) 2008: Denny Hamlin (Cup driver) 2007: Kyle Busch (Cup driver) 2006: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (Cup driver) 2005: Martin Truex, Jr. (Last Xfinity regular to win this race) 5. I do not think William Byron can win again, I think it's impossible for Reed to win on daytona 2x a year, but it may be possible. Algaier will be aggressive and have the highest chance of a non-cup to win. Now the only cup driver that can win 1x is Erik Jones, but Joey Logano and Sadler I'm sure they will battle to the end, Sadler may end up getting involved in a big-one, I find Logano difficult to lose in xfinity in daytona. 10. Today's NASCAR fan is way too entitled, most believe they owe them green-flag finishes no matter what (I honestly expect multiple downvotes and much criticism for even suggesting this idea...). Plus after the 2004 spring Talladega race where nearly the entirely crowd bombarded Jeff Gordon for being ahead of Junior at the moment of a caution that ended the race when clearly they felt otherwise (one of the most disgraceful moments for the NASCAR fanbase IMO) pretty much ensures NASCAR won't dare try that again.
