Also @RR, reiterating Post #2, there were 3 withdrawals. 10. Carl Long, who was originally gonna drive the 40, contacted Garret and put together a one-race deal. Garrett will be back in the 0 next week. 28. And it will be the same next year, because what Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski or Joey Logano can't, their less experienced buddies can like this year. 32. Next year, all Cup drivers are banned from Chase and Dash 4 Cash races no matter the experience. The rule that should be implemented immediately in 2016 and not in the way NASCAR did it... 41. I'm not so sure about it, man. Many people believe that further limiting Cup drivers will change something, but honestly, it won't change a damn thing. I told them that before 2017 season and all I got was just dislikes and replies that I'm wrong. Well, I wasn't that wrong... All I do is just posting facts, replying to some comments (especially about buschwhacking) and proving some people they are inconsistent. That's all... 44. JSPorts posted: 09.17.2017 - 9:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yeah, I don't see how the #51 team would not be in it. There haven't been 12 teams that have won this year, and the 51 is certainly top-30 in owner's points. I think it speaks to how Cup-dominated this series is that half of the owners' playoff teams are driven by mainly Cup drivers. There are 6 drivers who made the playoffs but their team missed it. 46. 24over48 posted: 09.17.2017 - 9:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The #51 team is not in the Owner's points playoffs because in the Xfinity and Truck series, the "Top-30" rule is actually the Top-20. The #51 team was not in the Top-20 in owners points, even though Clements is in the Top-20 in driver points. So that's why Jeremy Clements is in the driver's playoff but the #51 is not in the owner's playoff. Hope that clears things up! 47. This was the first time Allgaier won at a track in this series for the second time. William Byron broke early in this one but the team fixed his #9 Chevrolet and sent him back out just for some experience. The Camaro later broke again and ended his day but Byron used his team on the track before it did to work on running right against the wall to develop his skills racing in the highest groove available. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
