The 72 will be entered, and most likely the 15 as well. So if either or both can file a late entry, we will have the magic number of 40 cars. 5. Kennedy in the #2, Scott in the #3, Kyle Benjamin in the #18, Ryan Preese in the #20, and Sam Hornish in the #22. 6. That's why no cup drivers is great for the xfinity series. I wouldn't be mad if a single person on that entry list wins. Because none of them are full time cup drivers. 14. 1995z71 posted: 09.20.2017 - 3:36 pm Rate this comment: (3) (3) Cup Drivers: 0 I will now actually watch this race. 15. Ultimate Warrior #18 posted: 09.20.2017 - 9:06 pm Rate this comment: (5) (1) Here's my issue Justin Allgaier won Chicago Last Week nobody hardly commented on the race and hardly no one congratulated him. But as soon as a cup guy wins this series is horrible and it's about 100 complaints about this series. It's basically a proven fact that majority on this site and fans hardly care when it's a full blown Xfinity field. Let's see how the comment section looks this week. 17. JSPorts posted: 09.21.2017 - 12:27 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) I can't remember if I posted at all on any forum. I am someone who doesn't like the Cup guys in the series, but I also just don't comment a lot during the Xfinity races. I didn't even have the chance to watch this race, and from what I heard, the racing wasn't great. I think the Cup drivers are only 1/2 of that series' problem, because the racing at intermediate tracks is just very bad, even worse than the Cup racing. 18. The commenter is clearly a Kyle Busch fan who enjoys watching his cup champion favorite driver cherry pick wins and gets upset when people are unhappy with it. Like no one commenting suddenly justifies Busch and his egos need to run minor league races each week and then add them to a win total that he thinks means anything. He's good. Damn good. Great even. But only his Cup wins mean ANYTHING. The rest are meaningless. Much like an xfinitg race with half the Cup playoff field in the lineup 22. I like the standalone races cause it just gives the series a different feel, even when its at a track like Kentucky. Sadly there's just not as much money to be made with them. It's probably only a matter of time before all the races in the Truck and Xfinity series are paired with the Cup guys. 46. JSPorts posted: 09.24.2017 - 9:58 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) The new rules for next year will certainly make it better for the playoffs. To me, I don't care between Las Vegas or Kentucky. I'd rather have a short track, road course or plate track replace at least one of the 1.5-mile races in the playoffs. The 1.5-mile races aren't great for Cup, but have been even worse in terms of racing in Xfinity. However, I thought that there was some pretty good racing last night, and maybe when it's a more level playing field at the front the racing will improve. 53. supernova1 posted: 09.24.2017 - 5:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsor updates #18 - American Red Cross Hurricane Relief #20 - American Red Cross Hurricane Relief #42 - Broken Bow Records / Dustin Lynch #99 - Tony's Steakhouse 54.
