I know they're on a partial schedule, but they'd probably beat out most of the back markers in qualifying. 12. Losing Menards money also hurts that program on the NXS side. 22. rm posted: 10.06.2017 - 1:37 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think they'd get some of that money back by shutting down a team or two. I also think that'll work wonders for Tifft and Hemric. I think next year could change a lot of people's opinions on those two drivers. 23. Mannoroth posted: 10.06.2017 - 10:07 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) The main problem of RCR is that they are running too many cars - 5 is just too much... all Roush's 5 cars may won at least once in Cup in 2005 and all made the Chase, but their 5-car stable didn't last long and not all the cars were competitive all the time. Even JGR isn't that stupid to run 5 superior cars - that would be totally insane, if every JGR's Cup driver had his car in Xfinity as well + one extra car for a rookie. Oh man... 25. Scott B posted: 10.06.2017 - 12:25 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The problems with RCR are nepotism and pay to play hires. Nothing wrong with running 5 cars if you have the shop space and staffing to do it, economics of scale are in your favor. 26. Mannoroth posted: 10.06.2017 - 1:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 25. I would still rather reduce the number of cars and focused more on them. No wonder they are still completely winless... and they're not that weak as it might look. 27. So as long as Barney Visser owns #77 and #78, Joe Gibbs has just 4 cars. 53. These All-Star posters will never be satisfied as long as at least one of them will be in the field. They may claim they don't have any problem, if some Cup driver runs his own equipment and up to 5 races, but it isn't 100% true in all the cases. Kyle Busch does this in the Truck Series, but he mustn't win. Otherwise he's hated the same as winning the Xfinity Series race for JGR with many starts. That's one exception as far as he's is concerned. 56. Gray Gaulding's Distant Cousin posted: 10.08.2017 - 9:17 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) @53 A cup driver is a cup driver no matter what. Hornish already managed to win some races in Xfinity, so some 2nd place finish is nothing special in his case... However, if he did it, for example, with badly damaged car or flat tire, that would be ideal to mention it. But some regular 2nd place finish? Why? A lot of drivers finish 2nd from time to time and unless it's a big number like in Harvick's or Larson's case, it's just a regular 2nd place finish... 62. rm posted: 10.26.2018 - 11:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Something that was never mentioned here - Michael Annett stayed out on the last restart and dropped like a rock. Harrison Rhodes was caught behind him and finally gave him a tap in turn 3 while Annett was 4 wide. Annett spun in the middle of the pack and was dead sideways in the center of the track but no caution ever waved. Could not believe it, sitting there in the stands! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
