It's been a while since he last raced in any Xfinity race (2013 Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond). Mark Martin may have the most wins at Rockingham in this series (11), but only he and Jamie McMurray managed to win 4 Rockingham races in a row (McMurray won final 4 races at Rockingham). And he did it in 3 different car numbers (27, 1, 30) for 3 different team owners (Clarence Brewer, James Finch, Todd Braun). 3. Of course Kyle very likely will win another minor league race this week, but when that happens he probably won't be sad about it so your comment is technically wrong. And as long as he follows the old adage that goes something like "win on Saturday, blow an engine and finish 29th on Sunday" the rest of us will be happy too. 7. Mr.Victory posted: 03.06.2018 - 3:56 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) If kyle blows an engine and finishes 29th, that's a bunch of cars taken out before him. 8. Some kind of a new resolution for 2018? And I don't think it's smart to play with the law of averages - It doesn't matter, if Kyle Busch wins or not when you write that same opinion. It just will or won't happen no matter what. So I think it's better to just let it play out... 10. Mark Martin won 11 races at Rockingham. 12. RaceFanX posted: 03.09.2018 - 11:10 am Rate this comment: (2) (1) Kyle Busch hasn't lost an Xfinity Series race at Phoenix he's actually entered since 2014. He won the fall race here in 2015 and both races in 2016. He skipped the 2017 races here but it'll be interesting to see if he indeed does pull off a win here at Phoenix. He's seeking career win #92 on this tour. 13. RaceFanX posted: 03.09.2018 - 11:14 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) This will be the 33rd and last NASCAR Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity Series race at Phoenix before the track's reconfiguration before the fall events. It will only be the only one on the original configuration under the ISM Raceway name. Phoenix first joined the series in 1999 with Jeff Gordon, in one his rare Busch series entries driving his self-owned #24 Pepsi Chevrolet, taking the victory. 14. Well, he was robbed for that 2014 Phoenix win, because he was like 50 meters from taking the white flag, when they decided to throw the yellow for #5 running slow. In that case, he would sweep the 2013, 2014 and 2016 races plus that 2015 win late in the season. 16. TeamDCR fan posted: 03.10.2018 - 4:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Moisture on the Cameras. 17. It's Rowdy-Hemric-Custer-McMurray-Truex-Gallagher-Grala-Yeley-Lupton-Chastain in the top-10 as NASCAR deploys a few jet dryers onto the track. 20. possum posted: 03.10.2018 - 6:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) And here we see an excellent example of one of NASCAR's bigger problems: TV coverage that goes beyond amateurish into the truely incompetent. The red comes out, we see just a couple of seconds of the pace car heading into pit road, and then FOX goes off on some long canned piece that, frankly, no-one cares about. Maybe if FOX actually paid attention to the race instead they'd get better ratings? (doesn't look like the announcing team is ever going to say the race is under red, altho they do seem to have noticed all the cars are stopped on pit road). 21. RaceFanX posted: 03.10.2018 - 7:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) NASCAR is getting ready to go back racing here. In an unusual scenario it looks like they will get the one to go before they ever lead the pits in the hope we can get one more lap of green flag racing before the second stage break. 22. RaceFanX posted: 03.10.2018 - 7:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) They do get that lap in. Busch wins the second stage followed by Hemric and Custer. It was a comeback victory of sorts for the #22 Fitzgerald team as Keselowski got dinged with a pit road speeding penalty early in the race before coming back to win it. 31. Just one slower car and if that driver of the slower car uses brain, he moves out of the way, so no caution is necessary. Plus, he was already on the backstretch, so just move to the apron and stay there until you are on the pitlane... Say what you want, but Kyle Busch was ROBBED for that win by unnecessary caution. And not for the first time by stupid decision... Anyway, it looks like it will be a LONG way to 100 Xfinity wins, when Kyle already used 1/3 of his starts this year and still hasn't won. JGR is consistent, but can't win yet. And that's why every win counts and you should enjoy every one of them, because not many of them can come in the future... And this clearly isn't 2016 anymore. 33. And by the way, it's true. Kyle was really robbed for that win. It doesn't matter it wasn't in Cup... Consistency in decisions matters everywhere. Plus, what is so special about your comment that another Cup driver won some Xfinity race? If my comments are useless, those ones from you about the same crap aren't much better...
