All AJ has to do on the road courses in not screw up and he'll be there fighting for the win, but he screws up every time. This caution will be interesting to see how much ground he can make up. Pulling for him. 121. MartinFan6 posted: 08.04.2018 - 5:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Good, a caution. Seems to be contagious today. Restart with 13 laps to go. Keselowski, Larson, Preece 1-2-3. 123. joey2448 posted: 08.04.2018 - 5:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Full course yellow with 10 to go. Scott Heckert's #8 has no power and stalled on the straight between the carousel and turn 10. Boy, Logano looked fast on that short run, got up to third and was faster than Keselowski and Preece in front of him. 124. MartinFan6 posted: 08.04.2018 - 5:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) YES! He was right there on Logano's bumper and it looked like it would come down to the final lap. 132. joey2448 posted: 08.04.2018 - 5:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) And somehow, Allmendinger rallies back to take second! I was really hoping Hemric would get up there and compete with the Penske, JR Motorsports, and Gibbs cars. 134. joey2448 posted: 08.04.2018 - 6:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Logano's third Xfinity win at Watkins Glen in four years. 135. Also, nice job by Cindric to recover from that spin and get a top 15 in that lousy 60 car. It would have made more sense to put him in one of the Penske cars considering his road course skills. 138. Still I expected him to be better today. 143. Wil posted: 08.04.2018 - 7:24 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Pathetic run for Austin Dillon. Anyone know what happened to him? 144. It may not seem like it now, but the new rules are working. That being said, I have mixed feelings. It was a nice finish. Logano made a nice daring move off the restart. I think it would have been just as interesting if Allgaier and Preece were fighting for the win. What was wild was Keselowski was on older tires and hounding Logano. 146. As for Brandon Jones, he drives for Joe Gibbs. Cindric drove today for Roush. There's a HUGE difference in equipment. 149. Since about 2010 he hasn't been no where near controversial as he once was. A lot of young guys do that early to try and stand their ground. A lot of times it isn't the best idea on how they do it, but it does happen. I admit it I was a Harvick fan once he took over for Dale and he was at times hard to tolerate. Perhaps he felt a lot of pressure to do well after taking over for him, and he had a sophomore slump after having an awesome rookie season. I believe he has changed his way of thinking the past few years. He's still competitive as ever, but he's not the hot head he once was. It seems to me since he took a very professional approach in his "lame duck" year in 2013 with Childress in which he won four races that things have really gone well for him. He also had a son, so he probably wants to be a good example for him as well. If only more drivers could start doing that. 151.
