The biggest problem is the track has no braking zones - the backstretch chicane is too shallow to need hard braking, the front stretch chicane has a wide radius on the entry, and the cars aren't going fast enough in turn one to need heavy braking. Most of the passing seemed to happen coming out of the chicanes, if the leading car lost traction and gave the following car a chance. NBC's coverage was particularly weak. It will be interesting to see if the more powerful Cup cars can make a better race of it. 101. 34McDowellFan posted: 09.29.2018 - 10:07 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) #74 seems to be a 3rd McLeod car using Harmon's points, it had McLeod's number font and Black usually drives for McLeod 102. That is causing confusion on the Dover race page. 117. He earned 1 point during that race, but it's shown as -9 on that page due to the subsequent penalty. If that penalty is correct then the points shown on this site after Vegas, Richmond & Charlotte are actually correct. But that's impossible since NASCAR's official standings can't be incorrect, so the question is: what ever happened about that penalty? Did NASCAR change their minds? 118. This race should last longer because it was a cool concept for a roval, but shorter than I'd like. 122. Since they're using the road course it should be labeled "R." 123.
