UnderdogFan89 posted: 10.18.2018 - 5:59 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) @21 There are currently 43 cars on the list for 40 spots; therefore the lowest three cars in owner's points must qualify on time. These three are the #37 (new car), #13, and #99. The #26 is the next car in line, so if any of these three cars do qualify on time, then so must the #26. Basically, just look at the owner's points backwards, and you have who must qualify on time, with the exception of any past champion's provisionals, such as the #93 with Jeff Green. So the order would be: 37, 13, 99, 26, 89, 74, 66, 55, 40, 45 Now if qualifying is rained out, the three that will be sent home are the #37, #99, and #26, as they have attempted the least number of races. 24. There were some guys on here that were heavily targeting JHN simply because Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain would always be dominate in the races they were in. New for ya folks, kid is still learning and is only a rookie. Everyone takes time to learn and improve. Also to note; John Hunter Nemechek's father, Joe Nemechek, who was a spotter for his son in this very race, scored his last NASCAR win in a weekend sweep in this very race event at Kansas back in 2004. Five drivers seperared by 32 points? That would be so much better than what we have now. 115. Larson&Blaney posted: 10.20.2018 - 6:41 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) @ 112 get in a car and go win. At one point, there were five cars on the lead lap. I guess the cherry on top was the #60 finishing in the top 10. 117. Good lap, just wish the car would've held out to the finish. Good race for Finchum though! Pretty decent weekend for Carl Long's bunch in Xfinity. 123. It was an RSS Racing entry and is rightly listed as owned by Rod Sieg. Not sure if it was a joint effort between BJ and RSS but it doesn't matter because the #38 entry was filed by Rod Sieg who has owned the #38 all year. Plus, it had RSS's usual crew chief Todd Myers so I doubt it had any connection with McLeod. 132. But the entry should still be listed as owned by Rod Sieg. Because he owns the owner points of that team. When Custer ran races in the #51 in cup, it was pretty much fielded by SHR, but Rick Ware was still listed as the owner. This is the same thing. 135. With Chastain's win also coming in the Ganassi-entered #42 Chevrolet many saw there being a lot of pressure on Nemechek coming into these late seasons races to win one himself in that car and he went out and did just that. 137.
