He also didn't lead the most laps in either one of them. It is not a guarantee he or Joey Logano wins this weekend. 9. Not like every time Hattori attempts to qualify it's going to break on the warm up lap but probably adding some more Owner Points to the arsenal for when Hattori runs more races, in exchange Hattori is probably giving MBM some equipment since they're both Toyota-powered. If I remember correctly MBM is lacking Supras. Also @17 with all due respect, on a website called MotorsportsOne.com it has the 89 missing the show despite having more race attempts than the 10 and the 12. The website has these cars going home should qualifying not happen: #81 XCI Racing, #68 Brandonbilt Motorsports, #89 Shepherd Racing Ventures, #17 Rick Ware Racing, which are the bottom 4 in the Owner Point standings so I believe Race Attempt provisionals were abolished. 20. If qualifying is canceled, then car owners who have won races in the current or previous year, as well as past champions and others get exemptions and make the starting lineup despite having fewer attempts. When qualifying is not canceled, only past champion drivers may be eligible for exemptions. Attempts still matter in Xfinity. They do not matter in Trucks. 23. Timmy Hill is usually the one dragging those MBM cars to half decent finishes and running far higher than the car has any business running. Loop data shows Finchum's best ever average running spot in a race was 18th, at Iowa earlier this year (very solid run there, though he finished further back) and at Kansas last year in the race when the top 10 all wrecked on lap 1. 239.
