He ties his 7 wins from 2018 as well, his rookie season. So far in two full time Xfinity seasons he has succesfully reached 7 victories. With the dominate run he now leads 1,687 to the season. Will he become the second ever driver (Kyle Busch) to lead 2,000 laps in a single season in the Xfinity series history? We will find out in the remaining 6 races of the season! 38. Ralphie posted: 09.20.2019 - 10:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The lack of comments tonight ties in with the boredom of this race unless that's just a coincidence, but the clowns who claim that superior equipment has nothing to do with a certain driver's success (or in some cases, dominance) are just as annoying as people who claim it accounts for every bit of that success. Yes, the JGR Toyotas are the best cars on the track and have been for many seasons. That doesn't mean that Chris Bell is some untalented hack who just happened to stumble into the break of a lifetime. OTOH that pretty much DOES describe Brandon Jones and Riley Herbst. I don't even dislike them, but they are the poster boys for massive underperformance. 44. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the current bottom 4 are the first 4 to drop out of the playoffs, and if the current top 4 are the four who are racing for the championship at Homestead (unless Allgaier or Briscoe manage to take a final four spot instead). Last night, Jeremy Clements gained 6 points on Gray Gaulding in the battle to be the "best of the rest" (13th in points). Clements now trails Gaulding by just 15 points. 50.
