Morgan is fine, but is trying to show off what the equipment is capable

Harmon was actually a pretty solid driver in the old All-Pro series
about 20 years ago. Never won a race but came really close a few times.
Carl Long was also in the series around the same time and he did pretty
well too, even won a race. Just goes to show that even the guys that
hang around the back of the pack in the upper levels of NASCAR are still
pretty accomplished in their careers.

Carl Long used to beat Jeff Burton quite a bit on the local short
tracks. One got an opportunity to move up in good equipment, the other
didn't.

I think we established the Majeski guy was a troll a few weeks ago
everything he posts is negative and low IQ. Short track racing breeds
nascar drivers that's where it started on the short tracks.

doesn't explain why he got blown out of the water by Travis Braden in a
steel body car a few years ago in ARCA.

Braden won that race by getting off sequence on the pit stops and using
the alternate tire strategy to his advantage when the race went mostly
green for the last hundred laps. Majeski was making the lone appearance
for the Roulos' composite car, no clue what happened to that car after
that race. Russ might still have it, they haven't been back to the track
since the end of that season. On top of that Braden's never really come
close to a win since then.

All that being said, I wish Braden got anywhere close to the
opportunities that Majeski's had...which is saying a lot because Ty
really hasn't had that many chances himself. Both of those guys are
studs in a super late model.

Note that Braden was a one-hit wonder who hasn't sniffed victory lane
ever since, while Majeski has won at Pocono, Charlotte and Kansas. Note
also that success in NASCAR requires an ability to win on bigger tracks
as well. If anything,winning at Charlotte and Pocono is more impressive,
as short track races are usually crashfests and races of atteition.

Has anybody noticed that the top four qualifiers for this race qualified
FASTER than the pole for the Cup race, with pole sitter Tyler Reddick
qualifying a full MPH faster for this race than Kevin Harvick qualified
at for the Cup race (190.7 MPH vs. 189.7). Is it me, or does something
seem wrong with that?

Big wreck on lap 19 as Bobby Dale Earnhardt loses it and gets the turn

#35 Hi cjs! Long time!

I've had a chat with someone online before about this. There were a few
other races like that. Off the top of my head, Xfinity pole speed was
faster than the Cup pole speed at: Charlotte, Chicago, Vegas-2, Kansas-2
and Texas earlier this year. It's not just this race.

In the Xfinity careers, Jeff won 27 races over 306 starts between 1988
and 2009. Ward won 4 races in 161 starts between 1990 and 2007.

We'll see how things stack up for their offspring.

Christopher Bell dominating early. Awesome. I'm really hoping he gets to
2,000 laps led in 2019. He's at 1,775 laps led entering this race so
hoping he can cross most of that off today (225 laps to get there). With

David Starr crashes in the trioval and goes for a wild ride through the
grass that will put the Whataburger #52 Chevrolet out of the race. Starr
is a native Texan who has had some great runs at TMS in the past and
Whataburger is a Texas restaurant chain so that has to be a Lone Star
disappointment to the fans to see him end up on the sidelines.

Christopher Bell caught Tyler Reddick who checked out for a while after
this restart. While passing Reddick for the lead, Reddick nearly came
out of Turn four and looks like he was the closest you can get from
brushing the wall and it looks like he didn't.

David Starr crashed into the wall, looks like Stefan Parsons made
contact with his left rear and Starr just lost it. Caution is out.

Title contender Noah Gragson gets into Harrison Burton's #18 and his #9

dry put down to clean up the mess from Gragson's car as he limped back
to the pits leaking oil.

We've back racing but not for long as Reddick gets the wall on
backstretch then loses it racing with Brandon Jones and Chase Briscoe
before taking a hard hit into the inside wall. Brisoe slowed off Turn 2
and Reddick's attempt to not to hit him lead to disaster. The
polesitting #2 Chevrolet is done for the night.

I'm not going to lie, ever since he nearly brushed the wall I mentioned
earlier off Turn 4, I had a STRONG feeling a crash was coming for
Reddick tonight. Caution is out with less than 40 laps to go.

Chase Briscoe made contact with the wall coming off Turn 2, Reddick was
right behind him, made a sharper turn left to avoid hitting him, then as
soon as he came down to Brandon Jones who was on the inside of Reddick
and turned right instantly to avoid hitting Jones. He turned right too
hard to hit the outside wall then left straight into the inside wall
hard. He will not finish tonight.

Christopher Bell leads by about 3 seconds with 12 laps over part-timer
Ross Chastain. Those Burton boys both are in the top-10 though so

Bell gets his 8th win of the season and his first at Texas (in Xfinity).


Custer will be 52 to the good, Reddick 36, Allgaier 18. Briscoe is 18
out and everyone else has to win.

Christopher Bell wins his 16th career Xfinity Series win, breaking a tie
from his rookie season for his 8th win of 2019. According to NASCAR.com
he's led 101 laps, which puts him at 1876 laps led for 2019. He's 124
laps away from 2,000 led of 2019 with two races to go!

Christopher Bell will race at Phoenix with nothing to lose with a win
punching his way to the Championship Four at Homestead. He is the only
one of the 8 drivers to take a breather until we get to Homestead.

@81 I never said he had no talent. I just don't think he's nearly as
good as everyone says he is. Gibbs cars tend to make even mediocre
talents like Preece and Suarez look really good. Like I've said many
times before, Bell has a long way to go before I buy into the hype. He
has to prove he can actually RACE to success instead of just letting the
car do all the work.

Christopher Bell becomes the first driver across all three NASCAR
national series (Truck, Xfinity and Cup) to collect and reach 60 playoff
points total after this dominant win!

For the non-playoff standings, Christopher Bell was 50 points behind
Tyler Reddick entering this race. After the Texas victory he is now
roughly 15 points behind. It'll be interesting who comes out on top with
2 races remaining!

Ray Black Jr has now finished in the top twenty in 10 out of the last 11
races. He's had a solid year; much better than when he could be depended

@95 Except he's the 4th best driver. Take a look at the year long
standings and he's only 19 points behind Custer and 100 ahead of Austin
Cindric. He has more laps lead then Reddick, 1 more Top 10 then Custer
and a better average finish.

Bayley Currey scores Mike Harmon Racing their 2nd top 20 of the year.
