Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will be making his one start of the year in this race. While doing so he will be chasing a record that likely won't be mentioned and he probably doesn't know about. From 1988-2006 Michael Waltrip had 19 consecutive seasons with a top-10 finish in the Xfinity Series. Kevin Harvick matched this streak from 2000-2018 before effectively retiring from the series. Earnhardt's streak started at the 2002 Daytona Busch Series race, but even if he scores a top-10 to extend his streak to 19 seasons, he has said he's not sure if he'll race again in 2021. The longest active streak after Earnhardt's is Kyle Busch, who already extended his streak to 18 seasons. 6. Plus they have the pit road speed system and can see when each car accelerates and brakes. All the necessary tools are there for them to use. The amount of judgement would be minimal. 121. Cool to see him so at ease and comfortable in his skin now. He might schedule more of these races with how much he enjoys them. 124. Not very often. And besides, I understand pulling for one manufacturer over another but there are worthy, fair, and fun drivers in each manufacturer and if you really have a problem with Toyota in the sport, you should've left a long time ago. 125. He used those fresh tires to unlap himself and get to -4. He took the wave around again after Stage 1 to get to -3. He pitted at the third caution. He unlapped himself again before the end of Stage 2 to to get to -2. He got the free pass at the end of Stage 2 which got him to -1. He stayed out as long as he could got back on the lead lap and got as high as 2nd and then pitted went 1 lap down again got back to 11th then took the wave around at the final caution to get back on the lead lap and finish an impressive 7th. 126. And I believe often times he over thought a lot situations and things. It could also depend on his wife on how much or if he races. 127. Ross has many "meh" finishes this year where he had a top-3 car and had to overcome problems out of his control. The wins will come. 132. On long runs they were the class of the field. I felt sorry for Jr. he was one-two with his teammate until the last caution, those are the breaks I guess. His true final race needs to be at Daytona. 134. Racinglife97 posted: 06.14.2020 - 2:30 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsor update #99 - RacingJobs.com 135. But perhaps JR Motorsports needs to be looking at their gearing (not sure how much leeway NASCAR allows them there, if any) and rear shocks to get a little better on the git-go. 138.
